i have scored 100 marks in mht cet 2021 can i get admission into dj sanghvi or spce in electronics and telecommunication

Vedang Ranmale 14th Oct, 2021

Hello student,

All the admission in colleges happen on the basis of MHTCET percentiles and their cut offs accordingly. However, predicting MHTCET percentile on this basis is very difficult as it depends on various factors such as shift and subjectwise difficulty, number of students appearing for the shift, etc. Even then, I estimate that your percentile would be around 88 -94 percentile on the previous years marks vs percentile analysis. On this rough percentile basis, I think that you have fair chances to secure admission in DJSCE or SPCE EXTC or electronics branches.

However, for more accurate prediction check out the link below:

I hope this helps, All the Best!

which Engineering is good for becoming Robotic engineering Electricical and Electronics engineering or Electronics and Communication engineering ?

pri111nah 14th Oct, 2021

Hi,

Electronics and Communication (E&C) (Subbranch of EEE) Engineering is best because ECE includes industrial processes and techniques of industrial automation. For robotics you need to have knowledge about C language and basics of electronics thus, ECE includes more communication part like Mobile communication, Satellite communication etc. Though communication also plays vital role in transferring data.

Other thing is that none of the single branch will include Robotics as individual subject in curriculum. May be in the above branches like EEE, EIE, CSE, Mech will include Robotics and Automation as a subject but it is not a robotics which is a thinking. It is industrial robotics.

If you are interested in Robotic you can either pursue it for Masters after completing your B-tech/B.E in any of above mentioned branches. Other thing is you can learn Robotics by doing projects.

I would suggest you to take up electronics and communication engineering (ECE)

ECE will not only help you with robotics but also it will open several opportunities for you in future. It will help you with electronic circuits knowledge, communication methods and scheme, interconnection of electronics with communication systems, wireless devices, robotics, control systems etc. Core companies also have opening for ECE.

So you can go with ECE.

Hope this helps.
All the best

I got 62 marks in kcet pcm if I get siddanganga clg of EC or EandE branch

gurukiranmoger 3rd Sep, 2021

Hello Aspirant,

Considering previous years cut-offs for Siddaganga Institute of Technology, It has 10K for E&C branch and for the E&E branch cut-off is close to 16k.  So for the marks you mentioned your rank will be around 18k-20k range ( just a prediction). If you have any kind of reservation you will easily get the mentioned branches. You can check the other branches cut-offs for past two years in SIT from given link :

which is better most b.e in electronics engineering or electronics and telecommunication engineering?

Moumoyee Chakraborty 3rd Sep, 2021

B.E in Electronics Engineering is such a branch which deals with designing of Electrical devices, circuits etc. It is a part of Electrical Engineering , you will have a bright future ahead if you choose this subject. The career opportunities are like :

  • Electronics technologist

  • Test engineer

  • Project engineer

  • Product designer

Now coming to Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering courses helps you to gather knowledge about Basic Electronics, microprocessors etc. It also has a vast career score but it would be better if you choose Electronics Engineering over ECE.

I have received PDEU (computer engineering) engineering and also Lnmiit jaipur (Electronics and communication) engineering. Which one is best for my career?

Mghv 12th Oct, 2021

Dear Denil,

Both of the institutes have great scope. Choose your area of interest. I would suggest you to first ask yourself which branch attracts you more like if you like CSE(Computer Science and Engineering) more or ECE(Electronics and Communication Engineering) more. Then, you can decide the college respectively. If you follow your interest, you will definitely succeed, mark my words.

Hope this sorted your query.

Good Luck :)

Hi How is telecommunication engineering at Ambedkar institute of technology Bangalore

Mghv 12th Oct, 2021

Dear Abhishek,

At Dr . Ambedkar Institute of Technology(AIT) , the infrastructure is quite great one, there is greenery everywhere. It has  an open auditorium and a closed auditorium. There is a big ground which includes basketball court, also a sports complex where you can play badminton, carrom, table tennis etc. The labs are well-equipped.

Many companies visits the college  college for placements including TCS, Tech Mahindra, Mindtree, L&T Technology Services, Amazon etc. Most of the companies mainly recruited CS(Computer Science), EC(Electronics and Communication Engineering), TCE(Telecommunication Engineering) students.

Also, if you are placed in one company at the beginning only then you cannot not sit for another company's placement drive.

The faculty in Dr. AIT is very experienced and well qualified. Course curriculum is also good, the exam pattern and all can be a bit confusing for freshers, but once after the completion of first year one will be adapted to it obviously.

Hope this sorted yoru query.

All the Best!!
