Electronics and Communication Engineering
since there is no mention of the cutoffs for 2021 mhtcet entrance for obc category we can only predict the cutoff for 2021. the 2020 cutoff for obc at pict for electronics and telecommunication branch was 1309. we can predict that the cutoff would be somewhere around 1200 to 1500.
Dear applicant although Reva University Bangalore is a good option to choose considering their infrastructure, plenty experienced faculties, wise academic environment and placements offered to ECE fresher students are from 3-4 LPA.
However in NIMT the placements are somewhat better, around 70% students receive good placements with Package of 4-5 LPA. The labs are also well equipped and the campus life will be comfortable to you!!

Hello, Aspirant. You mentioned you have secured 3252 rank in CUSAT CAT 2021 and are interested in pursuing Electrical and Electronics Engineering. Well, although you have mentioned your rank, you didn't mention the caste in which you belong. So, I will be giving you an answer assuming you are from general category. If you belong to any other category then kindly mention it in the comment section.
As per the records and your performance in 2021, it is less likely for you to get admission for your desired stream in School of Engineering. In 2018, the Cutoff Rank for B.Tech Electrical and Electronics Engineering was 2002 (for General) .
However, if you are an SC or ST candidate , then you have good chance to get admission for your desired stream with ease. In 2018, the Cutoff Rank for B.Tech Electrical and Electronics Engineering was 10888 (for SC) and 11608 (for ST).

Hi,
Both CSE and ECE are most preferred branches of students, parents and recruiters. Placement wise, ECE is a little better than CSE as it has more offers in the public sector . Also ECE is considered to be somewhat of a "evergreen" branch, consisting of many career opportunities. CSE also has very good placements and the average salary is higher than ECE.
In India, CSE is one of the most demanding fields. Candidates from top colleges, like Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs), National Institutes of Technology (NITs) and Birla Institute of Technology and Science (BITS) get paid exorbitantly. It involves jobs in software development, web designing, software testing and much more.
Programming in today’s world has been stretched even further into other fields like Mechanical and Electronics and hence, its demands have been increasing. The advent of robotics and Artificial Intelligence too has given a boost to the demand and scope of placements in CSE.
ECE students usually get jobs in companies/organizations having operations in software (IT industries), hardware i.e. Electronics (Electronics industries), Communications (Telecom Industries) as well as Electrical; this is the biggest benefit which is not available to students of other streams.
Hope this helps
Wish you luck
