Is EC engineering is good option for Gujarat Students ?. And there is any Opportunity in future...

Nitya 25th Aug, 2021
Hey,
The goodness of the branch does not vary from state to state. The demand of an Engineer is common all over the world.
Talking about Electronics and Communication engineering branch, it is one of the most desired branches. And, as the world is advancing towards digitalization, its demand will be equally important as an software engineer. So, there is no doubt in the scope of the branch considering the student performs very well throughout his/her engineering.
But, i will suggest, do not go with the scope factor. It is important but not as important as your interest. If it excites you then only go for it. Otherwise dont.
As the branch will offer you good opportunities only when you will work smartly with it, combined with your 100% efforts and hard work. And this is possible only when you find the stream exciting.
So choose the one in which you are really interested. It is about your future. Do not rush. Take your time, compare the syllabus and then decide.

which will be best among production engineering in jadavpur University,Electrical engineering in Kalyani government engineering college and electronics and communication engineering in IEM ; for an 2200 rank holder in wbjee? ( I am an general candidate and I have no TFW)

Vivek Kumar 20th Aug, 2021

Hi aspirant, since you have 2200 rank in your WBJEE exam so you can easily take admission in the colleges you have mentioned in the question with the branches you have decided so one thing is important in choosing your college among your prescribed colleges you need to remember first that there are two factors like;

College with your desired branch doesn't matter the which college you opt.

Secondly college according to your finance condition.

So it's on you whether you want to go with your desired branch in any of the college whereever you get seat or you may choose college on behalf of your financial condition.

Thank You.

My 12th Std cut-off for TNEA 2021 is 176.5 (OC). What are my chances of getting CSE/CCE/CSBS/IT/EC in good colleges in Chennai area?

Rohit K Bhat 11th Jul, 2021

Greetings dear Jayasuriya

Tamil Nadu Engineering Admissions (TNEA) is conducted by Anna University every year for admissions into engineering and technology courses in the state of Tamil Nadu. Through this admission process, the university offers admission in courses such as B. Tech/ B.E. . No entrance exam is conducted by the university to offer admission in these courses. Admission is offered based on qualifying exam, i.e. 12th scores.

You can find everything related to TNEA Cutoff of the previous few years of all the colleges from the link provided below.

DOES ELECTRONICS AND COMMUNICATION ENGINEERING (ECE) CAN BE CHOOSEN BY GIRLS OR WHICH BRANCH WILL BE BEST FOR GIRLS?

lakshanaramasamy 18th Aug, 2021

Hi aspirants

Yes, for sure you can study if you are interested.  ECE is Electronics and Communication Engineering. It is a massive branch of engineering that deals with electronic equipment. The main concern of ECE is to conduct research, designing and developing electronic devices.

There is no particular branch that is best for girls. All courses are preferable for girls.

But computer science and IT are the two branches mostly liked by the girls

Hope this Helps

Good luck!

electronic and communication or electrical and electronics engineering have more opertunity

Shalini Parimal 8th Jul, 2021

Hi Aspirant,

Both streams, Electronics and communication as well as Electrical and Electronics have a lots of opportunity. Basically each field of Engineering has a lots of equal and best opportunities as long as the candidate wants to create it for themselves.

For placements, ECE students can apply for jobs in various companies along with EEE students. However, IT companies will have a slightly higher preference to ECE because ECE involves study of electronics and some part of communications.

But also it all depends on your interest. If you have interest in in product development, control system, system management, product design, sales, consumer’s electronics, transportation, wireless communication, manufacturing, chemical, automotive, defense and space research organizations, then you can join EEE.

But if you are interested in managing large scale research, conceptualizing, designing, developing and testing of the electronic equipment used in latest communication devices and other handy technological equipment, such as smartphones, tablets, processors, etc., then you can go for ECE.

You can refer the link below for more information on ECE and EEE,

Hope this helps.

which cousre is better cse or ece and which has high scope in future?by taking which course we can easily get placents and jobs?and how is atria institute of technology for cse and ece?

Anushri Varshney 7th Jul, 2021

Hello sanaulla,

COMPUTER SCIENCE ENGINEERING AND ELECTRONICS AND COMMUNICATION ENGINEERING are literally two different branches. So, does their scope vary accordingly.

Let me clarify the actual difference. See, the difference in both of these branches are the subjects. In CSE, it is related to computer science, data structure, algorithm, OOPS, DBMS and many more subjects which are very important for placement and career as from CSE an individual can apply for software engineer roles, developer roles, analyst and many more.

Coming to ECE, it is a semi core branch although the placements are also good you need to work extremely hard in this branch as it is difficult than the CSE. The subjects in each mainly focus on electronics and electrical having circuits, graphs, complex questions etc. The placement is good if you are from TIER1/2 colleges because they provide exposure to their students along with academics and curriculum. If you are from TIER 3 colleges then you need to work harder for the placements.

But the choice is yours. So, choose accordingly.

For detailed information on these branches, kindly access these links.

I got 3780 rank in Amrita can I get ECE coimbatore?

Swarnendu Bhattacharya 16th Aug, 2021

Hi

It is very difficult to predict the actual cutoff because of its ever changing nature and it depends on various factors like

How many candidates appeared for exam

Performance of candidates

Seats available

Previous years cutoff

How tough the paper was

Based on previous few years closing ranks of ece in coimbatore campus is 2747 for open category and 16407 for state quota. So you can get ECE in coimbatore if you have state quota

sir mere jee 18th march second shift me 144 marks 54 percentile h sc catagory kya mujhe nit bhopal me ec ya ce mil sakti h

ADITYA KUMAR Student Expert 15th Aug, 2021

Hi

With 144 marks, it's not possible to get such low percentile, you must have calculated your marks wrong

Your profile suggests that your home state is MP

With 54 percentile

Your sc rank will be around 40k

With above  rank, you have very low chances in NIT bhopal even under home state in ECE or any branch even under home state

For example,

In 2020, in 6th round under home state, 3333 sc rank was closing rank for ECE in NIT Bhopal.

You have extremely low chance even in lower nits.

For example

Under other state quota closing rank for some of the lower NIT for SC category is provided below as 6th josaa counselling 2020 :-

  • NIT Mizoram :- civil engineering :- 8376 sc rank

  • Nit nagaland :- Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering:- 8641  sc rank

  • National Institute of Technology Agartala, Production Engineering :- 9207 sc rank

You can verify the above at

https://josaa.nic.in/Result/Result/currentorcr.aspx

Try to get at least sc rank of around 9000 i. e at least around 85 percentile to get into NITs

Above prediction of is on the basis of past year data but  cut off/closing rank for colleges keeps changing every year depending upon many factors like number of students that appeared in the examination, difficulty level of the JEE main question paper for different shifts etc

To have a personalised report on your chances of getting a college you can go through our college predictor, it will give you complete list of colleges which you can get on the basis of the category you belong to,  your home state, your gender etc, the link for  jee main college predictor is provided below

To improve your score in your remaining attempts of JEE main you should focus on your preparation go through previous year question papers ,mock test papers and to help you in your preparation we have jee main knockout out for you, for which  is provided below
