If we go through the tag you have mentioned in the question then you are asking for Yogananda College of Engineering and Technology, Jammu, so unfortunately you cannot pursue Electronics and Communication engineering from aforesaid college because till now there are only four branches for engineering which are as follows :-

in MVJ college of engineering electronics and communication and in BMS college of engineering mechanical which is better to study

As per student's reviews and ratings, MVJ College of Engineering (Electronics and Communication) is better than BMS College of Engineering (Mechanical).

Infrastructure : The infrastructure of the college is very good with all basic facilities and equipment. Laboratories are well maintained and classrooms are big. Hostels are clean.

Academics : The faculty here in this college is very good at teaching being a well qualified and experienced one. The college environment is good.

Placements : The college provides a good number of placements. This branch has highest package offered for the college. Many students are placed and top companies visit the campus for placements.

Ive completed my MCA. But i developed some deep interest in electronics and communication now i want to persue M.Tech in ECE is it possible?

Dear,

M.Tech. ECE  is a 2-year post-graduate program provided for specialization in electronics and communications technology.

Eligibility criteria-

Any candidate who has completed bachelorette in engineering or technology with an aggregate score of 50% is eligible to apply for this course. B.E./B.Tech can be completed under any discipline. Almost all of the colleges require the candidate to appear for Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE). The admission criterion is based on the GATE score.


MCA is equivalent to four year B.E/B.tech degree from most of the universities, you can do M.Tech post MCA.

Eligibility criteria for admission is as follows:

Education Qualification:

  • You must have a degree in one of these.
  1. MSc Integrated BS-M
  2. BS-4 Year
  3. BE/B-Tech
  4. B-Pharma
  5. MBBS
  6. Or an Equivalent Degree.
  • For General and OBC Candidates - 55% Marks
  • For ST/SC/PWD Candidates - 50% Marks are required.

Life Sciences - Aspirant must have pursued academic qualification in Life Science on any other related subject only.

  • To apply for JRF, candidates should be maximum 28 years in age as on December 1, 2019
  • There is no upper age limit to apply for the post of lectureship.

College of Engineering Pune is a college in Pune, Maharashtra, India, that is associated with Savitribai Phule Pune University. This college provides a wide range of undergraduate and graduate programmes.


The total fees for Mechanical Engineering are about 3.41 lakhs. Mechanical placements are excellent. However, the number of placements is lower. The typical remuneration package is about 6-7 LPA.
