My rank is 27375 in WBJEE 2022.What are the possible colleges where i can get Electronics and Communication and second option IT???

Sumedha Bhattacharya 6th Aug, 2022

Dear Student ,

As per the previous year WBJEE cut off details , you have good chances to get ECE or/and IT branch in the following colleges :

  • Techno International New Town, Kolkata
  • Future Institute of Engineering and Management, Kolkata
  • Narula Institute of Technology, Agarpara
  • MCKV Institute of Engineering, Howrah
  • Asansol Engineering College, Asansol
  • Dr BC Roy Engineering College, Durgapur and others

But , the above cut off can't predict your admission chances accurately as each year the cut off can change due to the following reasons :

  • Seat Availability
  • No of students attained the exam
  • Difficulty level of the exam etc.

You can also check the 2021 cut off details of eligible colleges through WBJEE from here :

I have done M Tech in Electronics and Communication. I have to write NET exam. Which one I have to apply for? UGC NET or CSIR net?

Muskan Dhalwal 4th Aug, 2022

Hi,

To appear for CSIR NET, engineering students have to complete their graduation, but for UGC NET, they must complete their MTech from their respective fields.

Since you have done MTech in Electronics and Communication (ECE), you are eligible for both the NET exams.

Some points to note here are-

UGC NET:

* The UGC-NET exam is required to be eligible for a Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) or Assistant Professor position at an Indian university.

* Candidates who have earned at least a 55 percent grade point average (PG) or its equivalent from an accredited institution can apply for UGC NET.

* UGC-NET is conducted in 81 subjects mainly for Arts, Commerce and language.

CSIR NET:

* Only 5 disciplines are included on the CSIR-NET exam for students in the science stream.

* MTech Electronics and Communication graduates can apply under CSIR-NET Physical Sciences category.

* To appear for the exam, the candidates must have completed or pursuing the M-Tech degree.

You can apply accordingly along with checking other criteria mentioned in the guidelines. Feel free to ask any more doubts!

Jee mains 2022 crl rank= 139560 obc ncl rank = 42595 Domicile state= Madhya Pradesh category= obc Can I get CSE/IT/ECE in IET DAVV or SGSITS Indore campus ????

Sevit Kar 22nd Aug, 2022

Hello,

As per your rank is concerned I would like to tell you that you have more chances to get sgsits Indore. Th branch that you will get here is Electronics, electrical or mechanical branch depending upon your rank in the list.

Some conditions are considered while deciding the cut offs like number of candidates appearing in the examination, number of vacant seats in college, previous years cut offs and difficulty level of the paper.

I would advise you to kindly keep other private colleges as a backup such as VIT Vellore, SRM University, Manipal University, BITS Pilani.

Hello Sir/Mam,

As we go through the latest cut-offs of JEE-Main 2021 of JOSAA 6th round then it shows that the closing OBC rank for National Institute of Technology, Tiruchirappalli in 2021 was around 2600 so with the mentioned OBC rank he has chances to get ECE in National Institute of Technology, Tiruchirappalli under Home state quota. Also with such rank he can get following branches under Home state quota in National Institute of Technology, Tiruchirappalli :-

  • Chemical Engineering
  • Civil Engineering

Sharon Rose Student Expert 2nd Aug, 2022

Hello,

With the given rank it is quite difficult to get seat in ECE in Government colleges considering the previous cut off. You have chances to get seat in private institutes with the given rank and here is the list of institutes in which you have chances to get seat

  • Karavali Institute of Technology Mangalore
  • Navodaya Institute of Technology Raihcur
  • Bearys Institute of Technology Mangalore
  • Sha-Shib College of Engineering Chickballapur
  • C Byre Gowda Institute of Technology Kolar

As you haven't mentioned your category we consider that you belong to general category and the above college prediction is based on the cut off in KCET round 2 counselling for general category.

Cut off is subjected to change it may increase or decrease depending on the total number of candidates applied, difficulty level of examination and total number of seats available etc. To check the cut off click use the link given below

my rank in manipal enterance test is 28 thousand, what the the chances of securing a seat in CSE OR ELECTRONICS AND COMMUNICATION?

iamlavishamittal 24th Jun, 2022
According to historical statistics, your chances of getting a seat at the Manipal Institute of Technology (MET) or anywhere in the Manipal campus are slim with your 28K rank in CSE.

You have a good probability of getting a seat on the Jaipur campus if you get the given rank. You can click the following link for additional information:
