Good Luck!
Hi, according to MHRD highly funded power EC colleges are IIT B, IIT Kanpur, IISC, IIT Delhi in this order. For doing m tech any of these is just excellent.
I m in IIT Kanpur, so definitely I can tell u better about here. Here academics is highly professional with only even grade system. (means A 10ptr, B 8ptr….) no odd grade. Definitely here time requirement is more, even summer term is to be registered. Best guides are available anf definitely department rocks on all levels…. For example all of our batchmates are placed in intel at 17 lpa. (except 3 who did get placed in other gud companies at 10 lpa.) and all of Phds are well settled in top universities universally including IIT D, IIT B etc …. Tough environment but pays a fortune in return…. About 50 perc of students drop off due to get settled in some psu…. But if someone stays and work gud they are even setteled better.
There are many Good institutes of technology that offeres M.Tech in power electronics.some of the colleges are:
Guru Nanak Dev Engineering College, Ludhiana
Indian institute Of Technology, Delhi
Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Hyderabad
If you talk about the best, IISc Bangalore is the best if you want to pursue your career in research.
IIT Bombay comes the second after it. IIT Kanpur is also good but their curriculum is quite hectic and if takes more time.
If you want to prepare for exams also with studies, go for IIT Roorkee or Guwahati. They give less workload and stress.
Hi Divya
You can check the cutoff of TANCET from the link given below. The cutoff is the minimum marks required for admission.

All the best!
Hii
Electronics and Power Engineering is a branch of Electrical Engineering. It deals with the generation, transmission, and distribution of electric power and electrical devices connected to such systems including generators, motors, and transformers. It also teaches the principles and practical aspects of converting electrical power from one form to another. BE/B.Tech in Electronics and Power Engineering is a 4-year program.
All the best.
hi sudeep ,

Hello Anindya, sorry but with that rank you cannot get any branch in JU. Last year for SC category, Printing engg had the lowest cutoff in 3rd round, even that was 20500 GMR.
