Hello,
To get accurate details, please ask your question again with the complete name of the course in which you want to take admission.
Thank you !
There are several universities that offer an MSc in physics or an MSc in mathematics to electronics engineering graduates by distance mode in the central or northern region.
I hope it will clear your query!!
If you are needed to prepare for gate exam from ece batch there 65 questions in exam pattern total marks is 100 here 15% is aptitude general questions then 15% mathematics engineering questions , 70% core subjects you need to concentrate on more core related subject like controls system , signals and system , digital circut these topics covers most of the basics but you need to prepare more topics in core subjects and create a structure plan for yourself dialy attend mock test with time duration these steps will help to prepare very easily.
Since you have a strong background in Mathematics with a 9 CGPA, pursuing M.Sc. Electronics may not be the right choice as it requires strong physics knowledge, which you’re not comfortable with. Since you’re also not interested in teaching, B.Ed. won’t suit you either. Instead, you can explore options like M.Sc. Mathematics, Statistics, Data Science, or MCA, which align better with your skills and open careers in IT, finance, research, and analytics. Certifications in Data Science, AI, or MBA later can also give you good career opportunities.
Hi ,
With 419.9 marks in PCM+English and a UR merit rank of 351 in DAVV counselling, you have a fairly decent chance of getting into the Integrated BTech+MTech program, but your exact branch will depend on how many higher-ranked students opt for AI-DS, IT, or CS. Generally, CS and AI-DS are in the highest demand and close early, while Electronics or IT may have seats open for longer.
At DAVV, rank 351 is not extremely high, but in previous years, candidates with similar ranks did manage to secure Electronics, IT, or even CS if there was a drop in demand.
Also, DAVV cutoffs can fluctuate each year depending on the total applicants, so even a few ranks difference can change your chances. Make sure you don’t miss the document verification deadlines, as your seat will not be confirmed until all certificates are validated.
Thank you!
Hello Aspirant,
If placements and prospects are your aim, then:
Yes, if you hold a degree in Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering, you are widely eligible for roles such as:
Make sure you check specific eligibility criteria in any recruitment notice. Your degree is recognized and valid in many central and state government technical recruitments.
Thank you and all the best!
Yes, you are likely eligible for the IBPS SO IT exam. Because you completed your bachelor of technology degree in industrial IOT with a minor in CS, which is an important department for this exam. Also, you meet all eligibility criteria for this examination.
I hope it resolves your query!!
Hello Nidhi,
Yes, Electrical Engineering (EE) can be considered in NITs if a student is interested in ECE. Electrical Engineering has quite a bit of electronics content, such as analog/digital electronics, microprocessors, control systems, and to some degree, communication and embedded system electives. EE is often regarded as one of the hardest branches of engineering because it is very mathematically/theoretically based like machines, power systems, signals, etc.
However, there is no reason why anyone cannot avoid EE if they keep working, study smartly and follow good guidance and support. If someone has a deep interest in electronics and has a good understanding of the basics, they will do well, and later, may even be able to focus on electronics-oriented electives or projects. Furthermore, there are still many job opportunities (core jobs, software jobs, and centre for research, GATE/PSUs) available to EE students, just like ECE students.
