Which subject is better for btech, Electronics and telecommunications or Information technology?

Aditya 28th Oct, 2021

Hi aspirant,

See this question is majorly a choice on one's prescription and interests. In Information technology you will know the use of computers to create, process, store, retrieve and exchange all kinds of electronic data and information.  This field of engineering uses computers, networks, storage, and other technical infrastructure both hardware and software, to deal with and manipulate information/data. Now coming to electronics and telecommunication you will deal topics such as microprocessors, analogue transmission, digital transmission, analogue integrated circuits, reception of video, microwave engineering, basic electronics, voice and data, solid-state devices, digital and analogue communication, satellite communication, antennae and wave progression.

If it only about placement and opportunities then IT is a better option considering wide scope and ample opportunities. To know more about these two read our article by clicking on link below:

Give me your opinion about Electronics and Computer engineering... Is this branch is good or anything else?

Abhinav Pandey 4th Dec, 2021

Hello Student,

In the present era, along with the domain knowledge, an Engineer should have good programming skills. And this is true for all engineers ( ECE, Mechanical, Civil, etc

the different Applications which involves Electronics like:

  1. Development of Mobile Phones and Laptops
  2. Smart TV
  3. Smart cars with fitted Sensors
  4. GPSation
  5. Biomedical Gadgets like Stethoscope, ECG machine, blood pressure machine, Diabetes monitoring machine, etc

All the above applications involve hardware that can be designed by an Electronics and Communication Engineer. However, along with the design of the hardware the the the ystem, the software is also required that runs on the electronic hardware. This software can be best designed by an engineer who haswlboth hakhased the software. So along with a good knowledge of designing hardware, engineers in today’s era should have good programming skills, so that they understand and design the smart electronic gadget required in today’s world. Also with the  Industrial revolution 4.0 and 5.0the, the pace of development of smart technology has increased.

The branch of Electronics and Computer Engineering, also known as ECM, is fast gaining popularity across all technical institutes and universities in the world. The field of electronics and computer engineering is a deeper integration of electronics engineering and computer science branches to create effective and efficient computer systems. To become a skilled and employable electronics and computer engineer, one will require relevant education and necessary technical skills. Therefore, to improve your job prospects in this career, one must gain more practical skills besides the curriculum.

What artificial intelligence need more statistics or electronics?

pri111nah 25th Oct, 2021

Hi,

Well AI is combination of both statistics as well as electronics. AI is a broad technology with many possible applications. It’s typically divided into special sub-branches.  Here’s a brief summary of each:

General problem solving: Problems with no known algorithmic solution. Problems with ambiguity and uncertainty.

Expert systems: Software that incorporates a knowledge base of rules, facts, and data derived from multiple individual experts. The knowledge base can be queried to solve problems, diagnose medical conditions, or provide advice.

Natural language processing (NLP): NLP is used to derive understanding from natural text. Voice recognition is a part of NLP. Language translation is an application.

Computer vision: Analyzing and understanding visual information (photos, video, etc.). Machine vision and facial recognition are examples. Used in self-driving cars and factory inspection.

Robotics: Making robots more intelligent, self-operating, adaptive, and more useful.

Games: AI is great at playing games. Computers already have been programmed to play and win at chess, poker, and Go.

Machine learning: Procedures to allow a computer to learn from data or other inputs and make sense of the results for application.  Neural networks make up the framework for machine learning.

Hope this helps.

Sir, my Son allotted seat in C Sab 1 st .round National Institute of Electronics and Information technology, Aurangabad, , 1} How is this institute a} About study b} placement c} future prospect d} is it : degree of IT & ELECTRONIC or IT e} Shall we lock or keep in float for next round.

Moumoyee Chakraborty 3rd Dec, 2021

Greetings for the seat!! Honestly National Institute of Electronics and Information Technology is a moderately good Institute. Here the students are instructed to focus on Practical knowledge so if anyone is willing to gather theoretical knowledge then this may not be the right place. Here the college infrastructure is nice but practical work and other lab works are mostly done by the student themselves, though there would not be much study pressure. So as whole the college has a good facilities but his future has to be made by the student himself.

Hope it helps to decide!!

Good luck!!

The programme is a blend of both theoretical and practical knowledge. An MCA degree endows students’ an opportunity  to work with tools meant to develop better and faster applications.

Eligibility criteria for MCA

According to AICTE, to pursue an MCA course candidates must have pursued BCA (https://www.shiksha.com/bca-chp) / BSc/ BCom/ BA degree with Mathematics as one of the subjects at 10+2 level or at graduation.

However, MCA colleges in India might ask you to fulfill the following as well:

  • Minimum marks required: 50% to 60% (a CGPA above 6/10 is considered good) in Bachelor's; 55% and above in Class 12th. Class 10th marks do not matter in most cases.
