Do wait till the final rounds of CSAB as the CR for JoSAA was 9117 while the CR for first round of CSAB was 166129 , you will get through that counselling.

ET branch is the branch which was  more focused on telematics and less part is including electronics but here too syllabus is divided more equally

Respected sir/mam my dream is to work for ISRO now i have 2 options before me to study bsc . bsc mathematics or bsc electronics which subject could make my way easier for my dream

•Eligibility :- You are eligible to apply for Indian Space Research Organization recruitment's after completion of the Master's degree course.

•Candidates must have completed a B.E/B. Tech or equivalent qualifying degree in first class with an overall minimum of 65 % marks or a CGPA of 6.84 on a scale of 10.

•You can join ISRO through mathematics field but just Bsc is not enough you need to have Msc or Phd. You can also join institute like IISC, IIST, IIT in order to get best education. After completing your education you can work as an scientist or assistant technician for ISRO.

•ISRO conducts a written exam followed by an interview for Electronics, Mechanical and Computer Science engineering graduates for the post of scientist or engineer for research programs at ISRO. You can take that exam to join ISRO for to become a scientist or engineer at ISRO.

•You should go for engineering to become a scientist in ISRO. Try to crack NITs and IITs and you can take degree in B. Tech in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Radio Engineering, and Engineering Physics.

• choose the subject in which you are interested. As then only you can give your best in the studies and exams and you will surely achieve you dreams.

Hello Simran,

Hope you are doing all good. With a rank of 20800 and belonging to OBC Category, you have a high chance of getting Electronics branch in Harcourt Butler Technical University (HBTU), Kanpur. Normally the cutoff rank for OBC in Electronics goes to approximately 30k.

If you're lucky, you might also qualify for CSE branch as its cutoff is generally around 23k.

Soon after the completion of Bsc in Electronics, the following courses will be better choice for you at Post Graduation level.

-->MCA
-->Msc in Electronics
-->MBA
-->Msc Computers

Choose the course which you are interested and where your strengths are being fully utilized.

The admission to all these courses will be given on the basis of performance in the Entrance Exam.

If you want to join MBA course, then you should have to crack any of the following Entrance Exams

-CAT
-MAT
-GMAT
-SNAP

There are many of the state level entrance exams also to give admission for this course.

Each and every university will conduct its own entrance exam to give admission for MCA course.

Even for Msc courses also, every university will conduct its own entrance exam.

If you want to make career in IT field, then its a good choice for you to opt for MCA course.

1.MCA

2.MBA

3.M.Sc. in Electronics

4.M.Sc. Computers

If you are interested in IT field you should look into MCA courses. All these courses have entrance exams for admission. It basically depends on your strengths and your interests.
