Engineer
hi,
see jee main exam is a national level exam for engineering admission. there is other state wise engineering entrance test to become a engineer. so it is not compulsory to appear in jee main but if you want to study in nits, iits, iiits, centrally funded institute you have to appear in jee main exam.
since you are interested for cyber security, I would recommend to select b.tech or engineering stream like computer science, information technology to pursue 4 years b.tech/ B.E course.
Greetings!!
Honestly if you consider it depends on your wish to study any of these subjects and become successful in any of these fields. If you wish to become a space scientist but taking up MBBS thinking about Pay scale then it would take long years to succeed. However Aerospace is really a Fascinating field for those who dream to fly, now if you consider the general payscale of a Doctor it can range from 10-50 LPA also. For a Space Scientist also it is applicable, however in every field you need to gather profound knowledge and experience.
Good luck !!
Hi there,
I am confused about what you meant to say. I can not get your point perfectly. I think you want to ask whether those students who have passed from TIER 3 or low-grade college are known as engineers? Or what type of engineers they are?
So I am making my point of view on this.
See, the TIER never matters when it comes to pursuing any course in any respective field. Although, there is a huge difference in academics and opportunities by what does matter is the strength and the ability to work on real-life projects with good knowledge
See you can be an IIT graduate but still, you lack the confidence due to which you failed interviews. While when you are graduated from TIER3 colleges and got selected in top tech companies then your tier never matters.
Coming to your point of asking whether the student is known to be an engineer or not. See you have got the degree of an engineer and you have done engineering so you will be known as an engineer. Engineer word is not related to the TIER. It is a professional degree course that allows the candidates to get the best possible jobs in their respective interests. Engineering who holds degrees in CSE can be commonly known as Software engineers, Software developers, Analysts and many more roles. There is no such foundation while selecting a particular field.
I think this information helps you to understand.
Thank you and Good luck!!!!
Hello,
One of the popular branches of engineering is the Aeronautical Engineering Course. Aeronautics is derived from Greek words ‘Aer’ and ‘Nautike’ which mean ‘air’ and ‘navigation of the air’ respectively. Aeronautical engineering is the specialized branch of engineering and study of science that deals with design, construction, maintenance of various aircrafts and their components. Candidates who have an inclination towards airplanes and their mechanisms can opt to study aeronautical engineering.

Hope this will help you,

Hello Aspirant,
Hope you are doing good. In order to become a scientist or engineer in DRDO and ISRO you need to have a Bachelor's Degree in Science or Engineering or a three-year diploma in Engineering/Technology/Computer Science/allied subjects in the required discipline from a recognized institute. The recruitment of scientists to DRDO is done by the Recruitment and Assessment Centre (RAC) through any of the following avenues:

Hope this helps.
See this year the marks criterion for the JEE MAINS isn't applicable so if you have good rank in JEE MAINS then also you are eligible for the counselling round of JEE MAINS. Now apart from this you can apply for the state government entrances. For most of the entrances, the state level have 50% eligibility criterion for the boards. So you can also be eligible for the course. By qualifying the entrances you will be eligible to apply for state government engineering colleges, CSE courses. So you will be eligible for the course and you can pursue your dream if you wish to go in this direction also.
Also you can go for the entrances conducted by private engineering colleges such as VITEEE, SRMJEE etc. But this exams are done but you can visit there website for the admission process.

I hope this answer helps. All the very best for your future endeavors!
Hello aspirant,
Completing the masters degree provides you more opportunities to get recruited easily in Government sector jobs.
When aspirants with B.Tech and M.Tech degree qualification apply for a job role in Government sector, M.Tech candidates are given more perference especially in research fields. As you want in ISRO, which is a very prestigious company in India, applying there after completing a M.Tech (regular) degree will give you a better designation as a scientist.
And discussing about M.Tech in distance or regular. If an aspirant wants to join a company then he must complete the course in regular format as companies prefer them over the distance course. But once you are into a company M.Tech in distance gives you promotion as well as experience.
Hope this helps,
All the Best!!
Hi Omkar,
It is very difficult to state definitely whether you'll get a call from the old (IIMs I,K,L) or main (IIMs A,B,C) IIMs with your past academics records even on scoring 99+ percentile in CAT. There are reservations no doubt and you will be eligible for that, but usually for these IIMs especially IIM A,B and C, somewhat around 99 percentiles are required for non-engineers with good academic scores for non-reserved candidates.
All that said, under the CAT umbrella several other B-Schools come most of which do not see your past academics and a lot of them provide really good placements at par with IIMs. So with 99+ in CAT you'll easily be able to get calls from them.
Therefore, work hard for CAT and let fate decide what is in for you.
All the best.
