what is the process to get seat through lateral entry into second year b tech, in psg college of engineering and technology, and Sastra university

Dear aspirant,
Yes, there is lateral entry .After the successful completion of polytechnic exams, sastra university will conduct a 1 month course in which people who are interested in studying B.tech/diploma( But student should not have any kind of backlog and should have attained 80% or above).
During the last days of course , there will be a test conducted on the subjects learned on that course. Seeing your attendance and performance you will be called for counselling.
The same goes for PSG College of engineering.
