Having 173.5 cutoff with general rank 29507 and community rank 17411 in bc category... can I get top engineering college in cs/ECE/EEE department
Hello aspirant
With the above mentioned rank in General category and with your category rank, looking at the previous year Cutoff, you have chances of getting decent engineering colleges - NITs and IIITs, but you will get branches other than CSE, ECE, and IT. This is because for getting these branches even in decent and below average engineering colleges, you have to get a rank of within 15K-20K in JEE mains. But with this rank range, you have chances of getting Civil, Mechanical, Biotechnology, Chemical, etc kinds of branches.
