PREC Loni offers admission to UG and PG programmes based on the candidates' academic qualifications and scores obtained in MHT CET, JEE Main and GATE. For PREC B.E. courses, candidates need to appear for MHT CET/ JEE Main. Those who meet the cut-off have to appear for the MHT CET counselling and the final stage includes seat allotment, document verification and fee payment. For M.E. programmes, admission is done on the basis of GATE. Candidates have to further participate in the state-level counselling which takes place through Common Admission Process (CAP), followed by document verification and fee payment.

PREC Loni boys' hostel has recreation facilities such as TV, indoor games, reading rooms, and others. The girls’ hostel on campus premises is equipped with facilities such as a solar water heater, STD booth, reading room, cyber cafe, the emergency lighting system (generators). Recreation facilities are also provided in the PREC Loni girls’ hostel.
