What are career options after engineering physics
Hi,
See this branch is more suitable for students who love research and is mostly taken up by them. Career options can be at ISRO, Vikram Sarabhai Space Centre (VSSC), and even the National Physical Laboratory. Many go for further studies too. Lots also take up teaching. I dont understand in what terms someone told you about a huge demand. However many students also take up jobs that are in IT sector as well as banking etc. Check here for some details of IIT Bombay
how many points are required in jee mains to get admission in NIT Calicut for engineering physics
Dear Aspirants/Guardians
NIT Calicut is one of the topmost NIT. Score varies almost every year and differs from one branch to another. It may be vary depending on question paper and cutoff rank. And of course, you will get some advantage for being home state quota and of yours category.

What is the career prospects after doing Engineering Physics from IITs or other similar institutes?
Engineering Physics degree holders from IITs are involved in research and development activities. They usually get hired by various industries like telecom, microelectronics, lasers and micro devices etc.
Also, students with Engineering Physics degree from IITs generally holds the designation of scientists, technical director, staff engineer and managing engineer.
Apart from that, there are many big companies which recruit these engineers as few of them are mentioned below -
Microsoft
Oracle
CISCO
BMG
RBS India Development
National Physical Laboratory
DRDO
Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO)
Vikram Sarabhai Space Centre (VSSC)
BHEL
Applied Research International
Good Luck!!!
I have droped for mains but dont get a good physics teacher in my coaching .. so how can i prepare for physics plz answer me i have lesstime
In order to prepare for physics you can start with NCERT books to make your concepts clear and to make your fundamentals strong. You must solve all the exercise which are given in NCERT books.
After completing your NCERT you can also refer to HC Verma book for your preparation. For advanced level you can refer to I.E. Irodov and Resnick, Halliday, Walker.
Focus on the important topics of Physics which carry more weightage in the exam and fetch you good marks. You can check the important topics below.
According, to 2017 paper analysis below are the topics which carries maximum weightage
Capacitance- 6.67%
Current Electricity- 10.00%
Calorimetry & Thermal Expansion- 6.67%
KTG & Thermodynamics- 6.67%
Rigid Body Dynamics- 6.67%
Work, Power & Energy- 6.67%
Modern Physics-10.00%
You can also make your important notes and flashcards which will help you in at the time of revision.
Solve as many as MCQs for your practice.
All the best for your preparation!!
