how to remember any topics for long time

Abhishek Ranjan Student Expert 5th Oct, 2019

Hello,

Following points will be really helpful if you try to work on it.

  • Break the material down into small pieces.

It’s easier to process and remember information if you break it up into bite-sized chunks. Instead of trying to memorize an entire chapter of your textbook, focus on one short section or key piece of information at a time.

  • Switch between different topics. It can be helpful to alternate between studying different subjects, so that your brain compartmentalizes the information more effectively. Switching between topics that are very different from each other can help keep your brain from getting bogged down with trying to remember too much about one subject (or 2 very similar subjects) at once. Additionally, switching between topics will help you avoid getting burned out on any one topic.
  • Take notes.

As you’re listening in class or reading your text, write down important pieces of information. Don’t write down every word you hear or read. Instead, summarize key concepts. This will force your brain to process the information and condense it to its most important elements.

  • Take breaks.

If you try to force yourself to study for too long in one sitting, you’ll soon start to nod off, or find your mind wandering. To make your studying more manageable and effective, try studying for an hour at a time. Take 5-15 minute breaks between study sessions to snack, stretch your legs, or put your head down for a quick catnap.

  • Sleep on it.

Most people need 7-9 hours of sleep every night to be at their best. Getting enough sleep not only gives you energy and helps you concentrate, but it can also help you learn and remember. Your brain processes new information while you sleep, so you may find that you understand those difficult concepts better after a quick nap or a good night’s rest

I somehow forgot to apply the seal of the Institute on my elligibility certificate, but my application status says that mine application is in order and has been selected, will my form get rejected in the future....is there any chance of rectification

Apurva anand 5th Oct, 2019

Hello Ritik, There are very high chances that your form will get rejected in the future when it goes through the manual checking. The system accepted the certificate because it doesn't check for the validity, the applications go through manual checking by a person later. You might be asked to reload your documents again after it is rejected or you can ask the authority if you can reload that now only.

what rank should we get in open category to get below 1000rank in SC category

Rajashree Khandelia 5th Oct, 2019

Hello Jalagam vaishnava krishna

Rank depends upon the cutoff trends which changes every year according to the difficulty level of the paper and number of students appeared for the exam, no of seats available in the college, no of students appearing for the counselling, demand of the college etc.

Kindly mention the name of the exam for which you were asking these. Assuming you asked it for JEE Mains.

Belonging to SC category if you will score marks around 180+ then surely your category rank would be around 1000. To get rank under 1000 in SC quota you rank in general category should be less than 10000.

Hope it helps you.

hii friends i have paid fees in first round for going second round now in second round i got clg so bad so please tell me is there any possibility to refund my money and what is the procedure for that?

Apurva anand 5th Oct, 2019

Hello Shahenyamat, No, unfortunately you won't get your money back in this condition. The fee is not refunded if the candidate is allocated a seat in the second round, but it doesn't matter if you did not join or are found ineligible. So, in your case, you won't be refunded your money back.
