Dear Aspirant,
The admission in Bcom Hons is on the merit based ..The candidate should have passed class 12with Commerce or Mathematics or Business Mathematics etc.
They don't take any admission test
As you have chosen biology as your optional subject it might slightly affect you as compared to the students who took maths as their optional. The ones who took maths will be given priority in ranks because the branch, B.E. in Electronics and Communication Engineering, demands the presence of maths. But, this doesn't mean you won't get a seat.
I hope it helps!
Your question is incomplete. Please mention the colleges you’re talking about.
Hello Aashish,
Speaking strictly in terms of the entrance exam, if you score remains in the 50s range, then there are slim chances of you getting a seat. Judging by the cut off trends of previous years, it might be difficult for you to secure a seat for yourself in any category. However, it is not completely impossible as it ultimately depends upon the paper and exam pattern. You also have a good 10+2 percentage backing you up. There are chances that you may score well in the logical section due to your PCM background.
You can go through this link to study the cut off patterns for last year across various courses under 5 year law.

Hello Prajna
In today’s day and age, getting a B.Com degree is crucial for a commerce student, but it is not enough. Completing a degree can’t promise you a great career after b.com. One has to take up a post-graduation or professional certificate to have a well-established career after a B.Com degree.
There are plenty of short-term courses after B.com that you can pursue to further your chances of bagging high-paying jobs. You can do some diploma or specialization in a specific commerce field.
There are several career options available to students after completing a graduate degree in B.Com, but not all students are aware of the different routes they can take to establish a successful career.
In my opinion, only a Bcom degree won't be sufficient, if you are more into studies then go for some professional exams like CA, CS, CMA, CFA, CPA, and Data Analytics,
by adding on experience and knowledge you can do the job in the banking area, in companies, in co-operative societies, LLP.s, etc.
I hope this will help you.
