Environmental Engineering
Hi Candidate,
Environmental engineers use the principles of engineering, soil science, biology, chemistry to develop solutions to environmental problems. The students are trained to improve recycling, wastes disposal, public health and water and air pollution control. Here are the duties of environmental engineers:
Yes you can study .
Engineering is a discipline which involves mathematics physics mainly .
So many top iits offer this course like Madras Bombay etc.
Prepare for JEE advanced if you are very much interested in the course
Environmental engineering involves mainly chemistry
Hello Chandana Prasad,
As you have secured 6649 rank in the pgcet it is good . So as per your query about the chances of getting into the bmsce .there are very low chances of getting in that because the college cut off was very high compared your rank. For now analysis you can get in seat in industrial engineering course
Don't worry you can get the best
All the best
Hi aspirant,
Coimbatore institute of technology is one among the prestigious institution in tamilnadu. taking your community rank into account, you have lesser possibilities to obtain a seat there, considering the level of competitions to obtain a seat there. although the cut off might change and you may also get a seat there. anything could happen as this rank is quite present in the oscillation zone. do not depend on this college alone and have backup plans applying in other colleges also
all the best
Hello Jayaprabha,
Considering you are from the general category, and as per the expected cutoffs this year, you seem to have very slim chances of getting any college for ME in any branch for that matter as the lowest cutoff for lower-rung private colleges accepting TANCET score is expected to be 37-36 for the Open category candidates. However, don't lose hope. Keep a track of the cutoffs but also keep a lookout for other colleges and institutes to keep your options open.
All the Best!
Dear Sourabh,
I heartfully appreciate your interest towards Bio engineering and environmental engineering and I'm here to help you regarding your query !!
Bio Engineering :
It can also be called as Biomedical engineering. It covers tge topics such as genetics, physiological systems and health care as well. You'll also study about DNA, RNA processing, membranes and many other related stuff. The most common job roles after this degree is pharmaceutical Engineer, medical scientist, etc.., The average salary package for these roles will ve around 80k dollars.
Environmental engineering :
This branch of Engineering mostly deals with nature and use of some principles to control environment naturally and controlling global warming, pollution, etc.., As it is benifical to Human beings. You mainly study about the Chemistry, treatment methodologies, sedimentation, etc.., The graduates hailing from environmental engineering background will have a lot of opportunities as well.
Hope this helps !!
Best wishes !!

good luck
yes ofcourse you can apply for mtech in environmental engineering.
the scope of jobs is not enormous in the private sector but the public sector has a lot to offer.
you can become a lecturer, become a scientist(assistant research scientist) or a technical assistant by appearing for relevant entrances conducted by ICAR and CSIR.
hope this helps.
Hi dear,
Hope you are doing well!
Now let's go through your question.
Environmental engineers are in demand, but they must be smart when planning their careers.
Research the various disciplines you are interested in and the related industries and companies where one might want to work.
The employment outlook for environmental engineers is excellent. The field is projected to grow 15% from 2012 to 2022, which is faster than the average for all occupations.
Some growth will be fueled by the need for water reclamation projects that increase water supplies, especially in Western states.
Environmental engineers will continue to be needed to help utilities and water treatment plants comply with any new federal or state environmental regulations.
Thank You & All the best!
Hey. Sourabh
Job prospects for environmental engineers in various segments, including research centers, NGOs, and government departments are increasing day by day. Professionals who have M.Tech degree are in demand in various committees engaged in the study and analysis of environmental risks.
I Hope It Helps
Good Luck
