ojaswiyolo Student Expert 15th Aug, 2020

Hello

First, MTech Environmental Engineering DTU is a part time-classroom 3 year course. The total fees of the course is about 1.20 lakh and it provides good placement opportunities at Adobe, Amazon.com,Apple , Google , Microsoft,Samsung , United Health Group etc.

Second, there were no result sof environmental engineering mtech in amu hence I am assuming you meant Zakir Husain College of Engineering and technology. It is two year course. The average salary after placement here is lesser than through DTU (around 3 lakh) and the fees for 1st year is around 15 thousand rupees.

Third, in JMI  Mtech in environmental engineering is a 3 year course (part time classroom). You can get more details at https://www.jmi.ac.in/upload/programme/cs_fet_ci_mtech-env.pdf . All the best.

Hello learner,

Energy and environmental engineering is a branch of energy engineering which seeks to efficiently use energy and to maintain the environment. Energy engineers require knowledge across many disciplines. Energy and Environmental Engineering is a stream, where very few learners are fascinated in.

If you're planning to pursue Masters after your bachelors in this particular stream, you have enormous specializations where you can master at.

  • Master of Engineering in Environment Management
  • Master of Engineering in Geomatic
  • Master of Engineering in Hydraulics and Flood Engineering
  • Masters of Philosophy in Environmental Technology
  • Master of Technology in Built Environment
  • Master of Technology in Energy and Environment
  • Master of Technology in Environmental Engineering
  • Master of Technology in Environmental Geomatics

  • Master of Technology in Environmental Engineering and Management
  • Doctor of Philosophy in Environmental Engineering
  • Doctor of Philosophy in Green Technology
  • Doctor of Philosophy in Mineral Processing
  • Master of Business Administration
  • Master of Science

So, do not worry about the programs that you can explore after your B.Tech. There are ample opportunities and programs where you can explore your skills at.

"With the specialization in environment and sustainability – in addition to already existing basic knowledge in electrical engineering and thermodynamics – you gain insights of the planning and economic aspects of daily professional working life as an engineer".

Good Luck!

The job oppurtunities for B.Tech in agricultural engineering at TNAU are not that good. There are no internships oppurtunities for them. Around 55% of the students from the last batch got placed and the salaries which were offered ranges from Rs . 20,000 per month to 25,000. Biocon and a few other MNC's offer jobs for us.
