The second part of the HSEE entrance exam is essay writing. A few tips to ace in essay writing in exam are as follows:

• Do a good research about various topics you come across. Solve the past years question paper and write on the given topics in past.
• Present you essay in a structured way: 1) Introduction 2)Your views 3) Main body of essay (elaborate key points) 4)a few potential counter-arguements 5) Conclusion
• Practice and write with time limit whether it's good or bad.
• Try to replace common words you used in essay with good vocab word.
• Correct all your mistakes.

well the HSEE entrance exam is of 2 parts .it a computer based exam and the part 1 consists of 4 subparts and the  2nd part is the essay writing and 30 minutes are given.so here are some key points to write essay:

*kindly review previous question papers and gain knowledge on various topics

*divide your essay into 5 parts - introduction,your views on the topic,main body ,adv or dis adv or arguments ,conclusion.

*make sure you make use of idioms and vocabulary.

*donot waste your time on introduction and try to focus on main body.

Topic selection is one of the mail area in essay writing. You may have your topic assigned, or you may be given free reign to write on the subject of your choice. If you are given the topic, you should think about the type of paper that you want to produce. If you have not been assigned a topic, you have a little more work to do. Practice writing essays from the topics given within the preceding year papers.

To tackle the essay part of the examination, stay updated. Go through the internet looking for topics that can be asked in the examination.

Now, practice writing essay using the following format:

• Introduction of the topic.
• Main body. If the topic is argumentative,first tell your opinion and then explain it in the body.
• Some contradicting facts if available.
• Conclusion. Always write a good and informative conclusion.

Some tips:

• When you get the paper, do brainstorming for 5 minutes.
• Just note down the points that come into your mind randomly and then start making proper sentences.
• Always always check the grammar and spellings.

It is the age of Science and Technology which improved the quality of our day to day life style. The Science plays a vital role in our lives. It has made the dreams, imagination of the man true. Agriculture :- Science and subsequently technology has been of great help to farmers through innovations and development of new farming techniques, farming equipments and machineries that can be used for large scale farming, hybrid crops, fertilisers, herbicides and pesticides to help improve yield and reduce the harm of the crops from the Pests.

Electricity :-The invention/discovery of electricity heralded an unprecedented change and development for human civilisation. Home gadgets and appliances like electric fans, Air Conditioners, light bulbs, electric heaters, electric cookers, washing machines and many others have ensured that our lives are more comfortable. Entertainment :- The radio was the first ever means of serious entertainment that science gave to us. People listened to the news, songs and educative programmes on it. Now, entertainment advancement through science has gone beyond the radio and we now have great innovations in entertainment. We now watch T.V even on our phones and other devices and we can get information from all around the world on the internet. In this way the Entertainment field improved due to science and technology.

Medicine and Surgery :- Wonderful medicines that give our body immediate relief are products of science. A lot of deadly and dangerous diseases have been overcome with the help of science. There are various medicines and vaccinations available to help save and prevent people from many diseases. Even body parts can now be transplanted through surgery all thanks to science. We can now get legs to enable us walk, ears to assist us hear and eyes to help us see even when we don’t have them. There are new and better ways of carry out surgeries; the field of medicine has experienced tremendous improvements. Organ transplantation and blood transfusion are now very easy and simple things, the invention of ultrasonography, X-Ray, MRI, ECG, penicillin and many others has helped make the diagnoses of different problems very easy In this way the science improved the Medicine and surgery field.

Transportation and Travelling :- We now travel very fast and with comfort because of the wonders of science. There is no part of the world that is too far to be reached within hours. Cars, buses, ships, trains, airplanes are the vehicles which can be used to the travel purpose.

Communication :- There has been a fantastic change in the way we communicate because of science. We do not have to communicate by letters and wait for ages to get replies to our letters. Telephones have made communication simple and without stress as we can talk to people in very distant places over the phone.

In this way the Science and Technology covered our whole life and improving the lifestyle and living by its daily discoveries in several fields as there are Advantages of these wonders similarly there  are some disadvantages.The wonders of science should be used for improving the lifestyle of humans. It should not bring tears in anybody’s life. we should be careful while making use of these human created wonders so that person or environment should not be harmed.

I understand that you are currently a student of Uttar Pradesh education board and would be appearing for the board examination in the year 2020 and so to answer your question there is no probable way in which anyone can be certain about which essays are supposed to come for the examination what I suggest you to do is go to the previous year question papers for the last 10 years of the examination to get an idea of the type of bases that are supposed to come for the examination so that you are well aware of what to face in the final examination.

Yes! Now UPSC provides options to write GS and Optional papers in different mediums (Since 2018). If you choose to write GS and Essay papers in Hindi and Optional Paper in English you can do so. But point to be noted here is, If you choose to write GS and Essay papers in English then you have to write Optional papers also in English. It means, given the technical/subject specific terminology in optional, you are given opportunity to write it in English while writing GS papers in your fluent or compatible language.

You will get these option while filling the application form for prelim. UPSC ask optional subject and medium both for GS & Essay papers and Optional subject separately in the preliminary stage itself. So, you get sufficient time to get yourself ready and mater in the chosen language.

Further, If you write your GS papers in English medium and want to choose Hindi for interviews that option is also available. But that is not vice versa, that is if your medium for mains is Hindi/regional languages, you can not opt English for Interview.

So, Go ahead without any hesitation or concern if you are more comfortable for Optional to write in English and confident for GS and Essay papers to write in Hindi or any other regional languages (VIII Schedule langues). All the best!!!
