EWS category
Hello aspirant
Jee mains rank is totally based on the percentile and the percentile displayed in your final scorecard is the best percentile of your all four attempts ,also it heavily depends on how well other students of your shift have attempted the exam.
Here is an approximation of the cut off of various categories made in accordance with the previous year cut off trends.
EWS-74-78
OBC- 72-74
SC- 52-54
ST - 41-44
GENERAL - 91-93
Hope my answer helps
All the very best!
Hello Aspirant,
First of all based on previous year's cut-off trends we can help you with the expected qualifying cut-offs for this year :-
Now on the basis of above table and considering your category as Gen-EWS you holds decent chances to get qualified for JEE-Advance 2021 but still the official cut-offs are not out yet so it is little bit difficult to give you any confirmation.
Note that in above table it is not the actual cut-off for JEE-Main 2021 but expected on the basis of previous year's analysis. You can check out previous year's cut-off trends from the link given below :-
https://engineering.careers360.com/articles/jee-main-cutoff
Now on such score as you hold good chances to qualify for JEE-Advance so you should start preparation of JEE-Advance and if you prepare for JEE-Advance so you topics of JEE-Main will also get revised along with, so even if you do not get qualified for JEE-Advance (for which there are very less chances) then also you can appear for JEE-Main session 4.
To have a list of all those colleges which you can get based upon your marks, category, and state you can use JEE-Main College Predictor:-

Hope you found this answer informative. Best wishes for your future
If we go through previous year's data of seat allotment On the basis of data mentioned in the question by you, you can go for the enlisted colleges :-
National Institute of Technology Patna - Computer Science and Engineering (2480)
National Institute of Technology Puducherry - Computer Science and Engineering (2575)
Motilal Nehru National Institute of Technology Allahabad - Mechanical Engineering (2794)
Dr. B R Ambedkar National Institute of Technology, Jalandhar - Electronics and Communication Engineering (2359)
Maulana Azad National Institute of Technology Bhopal - Electrical Engineering (2958)
And some more. You can check out previous year's cut-offs from the official website of JOSAA as given below :-
https://josaa.nic.in/Result/Result/currentorcr.aspx
Note that the above list is merely a prediction which has been made on the basis of latest cut-offs available on official website of either JOSAA or CSAB and the cut-offs are bound to change every year depending upon various factors such as the number of candidates appearing in an examination, the number of candidates qualifying an examination, difficulty level of the paper, and so on.
So you can use JEE-Main College Predictor to predict your chances of admission in different engineering colleges of India on the basis of your JEE-Main 2021 result :-
For your reference, you can check out the link given below to have better idea :-

You can also check out the JEE-Main 2021 cut-off and know whether you have qualified for JEE-Advance 2021 or not, so it is given below :-
==>> Common Rank List (CRL) - 87.8992241-100.0000000 Percentile

Good Luck for your future!!
Dear Student,
There is not a single chance where you can get any NIT or IIIT or any GFTI whether you have qualified for JEE advance or not.
To take admission in any NIT/IIIT your percentile should more than 96 for the safe side but you have got only 71.67. So better if you participate in your state counselling or take admission in any good private institution.
you can use this predictor link to find some good colleges for yourself according to your rank.
Good Luck :)
No on such rank it would be very difficult to get any of the good colleges like any NIT or IIITs even with lower branches like Metallurgical or EIC through Other State quota because closing EWS ranks of last year were like :-
@Other state quota
Indian Institute of Information Technology(IIIT) Una, Himachal Pradesh - Electronics and Communication Engineering (7114)
Indian Institute of Information Technology, Design & Manufacturing, Kancheepuram - Smart Manufacturing (8090)
Sant Longowal Institute of Engineering and Technology - Food Technology (11365)
@Home state quota
National Institute of Technology Agartala - Mechanical Engineering (60272)
National Institute of Technology Puducherry - Computer Science and Engineering (83715)
You can check out previous year's cut-offs from the official website of JOSAA as given below :-
So on such rank and category you have no chance to get any of the NITs/IIITs/CFTIs/GFTIs under Other state quota so if you deserve Home state quota for some particular NITs/GFTIs then you can go for it, so I would recommend you to either go for state counselling for autonomous government colleges or for private colleges or you can prepare for further attempts of JEE-Main and to help you in your preparation we have some resources which you can access from the link given below :-

Note that the above prediction is made on the basis of latest cut-offs available on official website of JOSAA or CSAB and the cut-offs are bound to change every year depending upon various factors such as the number of candidates appearing in an examination, the number of candidates qualifying an examination, difficulty level of the paper, and so on.
