Hello Aspirant,
Congratulations for your result. In order to predict the exact college first we need to calculate the exact rank. It is quite difficult to predict the exact rank as the trends changes every year because it depends on many factors like number of students appeared, shift, toughness, etc.
But we can predict your result based on the previous trends. With 73 percentile your CRL-AIR will be around 276210 - 310500 and your EWS rank will be around 14k. You can verify your rank by using our rank predictor tool which is given below:
https://engineering.careers360.com/jee-main-rank-predictor
In order to get a seat in NITs in EWS category, you need to score at least 92 percentile as per past year trends to get a lower branch and 97+ percentile to get a higher branch.
Thus, with 73 percentile, chances are very low for NITs.

The truth is that with an EWS rank of 35,058 and a general rank of 2,83,743 you won't get an admission into any National Institute of Technology. You can either try for the JEE Main for next year, or take admission into any private engineering college like:
AMITY Noida JIIT Noida SRM Chennai VIT Vellore

Hope I have answered your question. All the best!
hello aspirant,
With the above mentioned rank in EWS category in JEE mains and looking at the previous year JEE Mains Cutoff trends, you have less chances of getting core branches in some of the top NIT's or IIIT's in India. But you can get other lower branches in lower ranked NIT's like NIT silchar, NIT Jamshedpur, NIT Mizoram, etc.
Now, if you want to take admission in engineering colleges near Delhi-NCR, Lucknow or jaipur Locations, then you can take many of the State level Engineering Colleges which you can get with your Above mentioned EWS rank in JEE mains.
Some Colleges that I can suggest for you in the above stated regions other than NIT's are as follows :
DTU (delhi technological University)
Amity university
JIIT, Noida
JMI, New Delhi
NSUT, Delhi
Lucknow University
IET lucknow
Polytechnic Lucknow
BBAU Lucknow
University of Rajasthan, Jaipur
Government Ram Chandra Khaitan Polytechnic College, Jaipur
University Maharani College, Jaipur
And many more...

Hello,
As far as your rank is concerned it is not possible to get through josaa . I would suggest you to keep other colleges as a backup like VIT Vellore, SRM University, Manipal University.
Other than these you can think of going to Gurughasidas bilaspur, Kongri Vishwavidyalaya. Various factors are considered while deciding the cut offs like number of vacant seats in college, previous years cut offs and toughness level of the paper.
