expected cuttoff for GMC shahdol for ews category??

Heena GJ 5th Oct, 2020

Hi

Last year cut off for GMC Shahdol for ews was

35946 rank and 524 marks

Although cut off varies every year as it depends upon the no of students appearing, qualifying, difficulty level of exam, last year's trends, available no of seats.

On the basis of previous year's data, cut off for 2020 is going to be high.

So it is really difficult to predict for a particular college.

However for more information about previous year's cut off of different colleges, you can check this out

Hope this information helps

Good luck!

shelly 5th Oct, 2020

Dear Student,

Your all india rank will be approximate to 68000 and your ews rank would be nearly 6800 so based on this your chances are less into NIT's but yes you have chances because your rank should be below 5000 in ews category to get into NIT.You have chances in NIT's  if you have home quota. You can check here the previous year cut-off of Top NIT's

i got 72%ile in jee mains gen ews category is there any chance for NITs?

Swarnabha Das 5th Oct, 2020

Dear aspirant
At first lots of congratulations for your results .

I can guess your score is about 40 and rank is about  290000-300000 .According to trends of previous years and this year's JEE MAIN cut off I am afraid to inform you that your chances of getting admission into colleges NITs and IITs are almost negative. However You can try in state level counselling and private colleges . But if you have any other category rank like ST , SC there may be chance for you .One thing is  important that admission in those above mentioned category entirey depends upon that particular category rank , not the All India rank.
you can check previous years cut off

Anurag Khanna 5th Oct, 2020

Hello Aspirant,

According to the rank and category mentioned by you in the question you have almost no chances of getting into any of the IITs.

Note that the above prediction is made on the basis of previous year's cut-off and the cut-offs are bound to change every year depending upon various factors such as the number of candidates appearing in an examination, the number of candidates qualifying an examination, difficulty level of the paper, and so on.

i got 82 percentile in jee mains and I belong to EWS category where can i get seat ???

sheemaashraf123 30th Nov, 2021
It depends upon the JEE Main and JEE Advance cut offs, If You manage to qualify the exam by achieving the cut off, You can apply for JOSAA Counselling. It should be noted the cut off for EWS/SC/ST/FEMALES/OBC category is lower than the general category

If you manage to qualify JEE Main Cutoff, You would be eligible for JEE Advance which is the intake exam for IITs as mentioned above.

However It is usually advised to fill the choices as per the preference of colleges and departments, for example CSE in NIT Trichy is your priority followed by CSE in NIT Warangal, you can fill CSE at NIT Trichy at serial number 1 and CSE at NIT Warangal at serial number 2 and so on and so forth. However to get any NIT, you must have qualified JEE Mains and to get any IIT, you must have qualifies JEE Advanced

But the previous cut offs of colleges should be taken in consideration, it is better to research over the cut off of colleges then make a preference list of colleges and fill accordingly

For the college preferences and the courses provided by these colleges and to know which colleges participate in the JOSAA counselling, please go to the below mentioned link: https://engineering.careers360.com/articles/josaa-participating-institutes/amp
