with 94.55 percentile m I elligible for any nit or gftis with cs branch I belong to EWS category and my EWS rank is 9805

Anurag Khanna 13th Sep, 2020

Hello Aspirant,

According to the category rank you have mentioned in the question you cannot get any of the NITs or good GFTIs as per previous year's cut-offs until and unless you deserves Home State quota but I would suggest you to sit for some state counselling because in some of the state government colleges you can get admission on such ranks. You can try for some colleges like :-

  • Integral University Lucknow
  • RTU Kota
  • VIT Pune
  • KNIT Sultanpur

Note that the cut-offs are bound to change every year depending upon various factors.

So you can use JEE-Main College Predictor to predict your chances of admission in different engineering colleges of India :-

I hope this information helps you.

Good Luck!!

sir what is the expecting opening and closing rank for not Andhra Pradesh in chemical engineering in ews category male this year?

theeanonymous 23rd Oct, 2020

Hello Aspirant,

I  assume you are asking about the NIT cutoff. The EWS cutoff rank would be usually between general and OBC category .So last year for chemical engineering for  home state candidates the opening rank was 27875 and the closing rank was 36954 and for other state students , the opening rank was 38289 and the closing rank was 55405. And keeping in mind that this year it may increase a little bit ,for the EWS category the expected closing cutoff rank this year would be around 38-40K for home state students and around 50000 for other state students.

i got 78 percentile marks in jee mains exam . M i get any nit college by ews category

vishesh kumar 13th Sep, 2020

Hi,

I would like to inform you that in order to get a seat under EWS quota, you need to score really higher since the cut-off for EWS category is the highest one and the seats are very few. So with a percentile of 78, it's harder to get a seat. You can use our college predictor tool for predicting the colleges for you.

Dear Aspirant ,

As per the previous year data and cut-off for different- different NIT's  your chances to get any NIT are very low. But you can check out the  cut-off of the respective NIT's to check whether you will get any seat based on your category or not. Below is the link for cut-off .

My neet mark 592..AIR 23556.. should I go through all India counciling or only go through state counciling...belong to odisha general ews category ?????Im confused what should I do help me??????????????

kritiesse 22nd Oct, 2020

hello,

Those are adequate marks to get admission in a government college. You actually are eligible to get seat in AIQ counseling. But if you're sure you are getting a good seat in State quota, you needn't go for AIQ counseling because they have around 15 seats in a college of 100 seats. Whereas in state quota, you get 85 seats out of 100.

You could also go for both counselings if in much doubt.

Here you can go for the college predictor for satisfactory results.

my all India ews category rank is 44175 . would i able to get government mbbs or government bds college through state counseling for Uttar Pradesh?

chinchujoseph1993 22nd Oct, 2020

Hello

Hope you are doing well.

It looks like there is less  chance to get an MBBS seat in a government college for your rank. Please refer the following link to get an idea on the previous year cutoffs:

https://medicine.careers360.com/articles/neet-cutoff-up

The cutoffs do vary every year and it depends upon the number of candidates appearing for the exam, the difficulty level of the question paper, total seats available. So do try.

You may also use the following NEET College Predictor Link to find out which college you have a better chance of getting admission into more precisely so that you can make a better choice:

https://medicine.careers360.com/neet-college-predictor?icn=QnA&ici=qna_answer

You may also try for private colleges which have comparatively lower cutoffs.

Hope you found this useful.

Good luck with your future
