ANKITA SONI 6th Sep, 2021

Hello Buddy! Hope you're doing good.

Well if you didn't fill Gen-EWS category in JEE MAIN then you will not get any EWS category rank. So you cannot change your category during JEE Advanced registration or form filling. You will be considered in General category and you need not to upload the category certificate. Hope this may helps you.

my marks 400 in neet 2021 i am from bihar general ews category can i get any government medical College for bds

rajeevanand843 16th Oct, 2021

Dear shivani

Your score is too low to get any govt BDS college either in AIQ counseling or bihar state counseling.

NEET 2020 AIQ counseling cut off marks for BDS was Air 25897 ( marks aprrox 590+) for ews category.

In bihar only two govt dental college are there which cut off are almost same as AIQ cut off for BDS.

So there are almost no chance of you getting govt BDS college at your expected marks

Although you have good chance of getting private BDS college in bihar or other states at this marks.

You can use NEET UG college predictor tool for knowing chances of getting MBBS BDS ayush colleges at your expected marks.

my marks in neet 2021 is 582 can i get a government mbbs medical college in up, from ews category

pdwords Student Expert 15th Oct, 2021

Hello,

If we go through previous year cut-offs under 85% state quota for EWS category, then 606 marks secured seat in Autonomous State Medical College and Associated Teaching Hospital, Bahraich hence the chances for GMC seems tough with 582 marks, however if the cut-offs decrease as this year NEET paper was tough then you may have chances regarding this otherwise there is possibility for private colleges through state quota, this is completely based on previous year data, and cut-offs vary every year based on various factors such as seat matrix/reservation/difficulty level of the examination/total number of candidates appearing for the exam, etc, check out previous year cut-offs for UP at https://medicine.careers360.com/articles/neet-cutoff-up, to know more detailed information about admission possibilities use our NEET College Predictor at https://medicine.careers360.com/neet-college-predictor?utm_source=qna&utm_medium=neet_cp

I got 2116 rank in jee mains. Can i get nit bhopal(last year closing rank 2196),nit jameshdpur (last year closing rank 2439),nit Durgapur (last year closing rank 2268).Can we compare ews category rank with previous years.

Anurag Khanna 15th Oct, 2021

Hello Aspirant,

Yes definitely we can compare current EWS rank from previous years closing EWS ranks.

As we go through the latest cut-offs of JEE-Main 2020 of JOSAA 6th round then it shows that :-

Closing EWS rank for NIT Bhopal was :-

  • Electronics and Comm. Engineering branch - 2196 (Other state quota)

So you have quite good chances to get NIT Bhopal and similarly in other mentioned NITs also you have decent chances on such EWS rank.

You can check out the latest cut-offs from the link given below :-

https://josaa.nic.in/Result/Result/currentorcr.aspx

Note that the above prediction is made on the basis of latest cut-offs available on official website of JOSAA or CSAB and the cut-offs are bound to change every year depending upon various factors such as the number of candidates appearing in an examination, the number of candidates qualifying an examination, difficulty level of the paper, and so on.

my brother got 10000 rank in ews category, is there any chance of getting nit tadepalligudem.

Sumedha Bhattacharya 15th Oct, 2021

Hello there ,

It would be better for me to help if you can share his AI rank or gen rank rather than EWS Rank , as per previous year database .. if his gen rank is within around 50000, he can get chance for admission in NIT Andhra Pradesh .

But this prediction not always can give assurance of getting chances in such NIT, IIIT or GFTIs as the cut off can vary each and every year for some factors like ,

  • Caste category
  • Difficulty level of questions
  • Seat matrix and other factors

Well, you can check the cut off of individual B.Tech courses in NIT AP of previous years through this link:

https://engineering.careers360.com/articles/jee-main-cutoff-for-nit-andhra-pradesh

For your reference , you can also use this JEE MAIN college predictor link to know your chances of getting admission in other colleges through your rank :

Hope this helps !!

Best wishes !!
