The compartment test is only open to students who failed one or both courses on the CBSE Class 10 board exams. The topics in which they have failed may be taken again by students in compartment exams.

So yes if you failed in English then you can give compartment exam.

As per your question, YES you can give the compartment exam for the CBSE if you have failed in english. The compartment exam can only be given if you have failed in one or two subjects. SO, if you have only failed in English then you can definitely give the exam.

As per your question, YES you will eligible if you score more than 75% of the marks in your intermediate after giving the improvements exam. However, the intermediate board will consider the highest scored marks and release the same through your admit card.
