Yes, you may get some questions that are not directly asked but directly or indirectly everything is from NCERT only. see it does not matter which of the paper you have attempted, however you must have the qualifying cutoff score to get gate score card. gate cutoff score for general category candidates is 29.2, in case you belongs to general category you did not qualify in gate exam and not eligible to apply for iits  for m.tech course based on gate score. however if you belongs to reserve category like obc ncl, sc/ st you are gate qualified.

now coming to gate cutoff, to secure m.tech admission in any iits you must have high score and just getting the gate cutoff is not enough for admission to iits.

however you may apply for state government institute or private institute.
