I was unable to take the board examination both theory and practical Can I apply as a private candidate? please answer fast, i am depressed(:(

Pooja Bansal 20th Aug, 2022

Dear student,

According to CBSE guidelines, if a student fails to appear for the examination, he or she would be marked as absent and is eligible to appear in the examinations next year.

Same rules are for the practical examination. Your name will get included in next year examination. You just have to remain in contact with your schoo l if you want to appear as a regular student.

And for private candidature you are eligible.

Hope it helps

i am now in 9 class iam born in 7-5-2009 so pls ans. me can i eligible for 10 class board examination

Pooja Bansal 19th Aug, 2022

Yes, you can appear for the class 10 CBSE board examination. According to guidelines laid by the CBSE the minimum age is 14 years as of 31st December of the year of examination and there is no such upper age limit. It means you are eligible as you would be 14 years old by 2023. And even if you are referring to any state board, the rule is same.

i am in class 9 th iam born in 7/5/2009 So pls ans me can i eligible for class 10 board examination

Sayan 19th Aug, 2022

Hello,

All class 10 students, whether they are enrolled in the CBSE or ICSE system, must be at least 14 years old. A student must also turn 14 by December 31 of the year he is taking the exam in order to take the CBSE.

Our calculations show that because your child was born on May 07, 2009, he will be at least 14 years old on December 31, 2023. And he has attained the necessary minimum age at this age.

So, you are eligible for class 10 board examination according to your age.

Thank You

anushkasrivastava073 16th Aug, 2022

Hello Nikhil,

At this rank, it is very difficult to get CSE, IT, or ECE branches. You will not be able to get any NITs or IIITs at this rank. However, you should go for CSAB counselling. There you can get colleges at higher ranks. CSAB counselling is conducted after JoSAA  counselling is over. CSAB counselling is done for the seats that remain vacant after JoSAA counselling.

Colleges and branches that you can expect at this rank through JoSAA counselling:

  • Indian Institute of Food Processing Technology, Thanjavur, Tamil Naidu- Food Technology
  • Indian Institute of Handloom Technology(IIHT), Varanasi- Handloom and Textile Technology
  • National Institute of Food Technology Entrepreneurship and Management, Sonepat, Haryana- Food Technology and Management
  • School of Engineering, Tezpur University, Napaam, Tezpur- Food Engineering and Technology
  • Sant Longowal Institute of Engineering and Technology- Food Technology

I have qualified UPTET and CTET paper 2 that is upper primary level, am I eligible for super TET examination? I have read at many places that paper 1(primary)should be qualified for supertet, please clear my doubt.

Sijal Siddiqui 16th Aug, 2022

Hi,

Candidates applying for the Super TET 2022 must have graduated and got at least 50% marks in all their studies . Candidates must have obtained a bachelor's degree in primary/ elementary education (B. Ed) or hold a degree in this field.

If you have completed your B. Ed. Degree and  qualified  both Uptet and ctet of paper 2, you are therefore, eligible for super tet examination also.

But to be on a safer side, you can also go for paper 1 as it would increase your chances for a secured government job if the vacancies are up for any programme.

Regards.
