my fathers name in my school id card is different from the name written in my 10th admit card for board examination 23-24. does it matter?? and if it matters then how can i solve this problem within 4 days ?
Hello aspirant,
Hope you are doing great.
As per your question, basically you can change the name which was written in your Identity card. Speaking of which, if you are going to show your identity card during the board exam, then you need to change the same according to your admit card. This can be done by your school authorities.
Hope this helps!
I have mistakenly registered twice for JEE mains 2024 examination. For the april attempt i registered as a fresh candidate.Would i be banned for 3 years or my candidature would be cancelled or NTA will resolve my issue as i have mailed them already.
Hi
hope you doing well
NTA strictly prohibits duplicate registrations. If they detect two registrations, they may cancel both applications. In some cases, candidates may face a ban for 1-3 years, but this is usually for intentional duplicate registrations or misconduct.
What you have to do now that:
- Email Response: Since you’ve already emailed NTA regarding the issue, they will investigate your case. They may ask for details to understand whether the duplicate registration was unintentional.
- Resolution: NTA may resolve the issue favorably if you can prove that it was a genuine mistake. It’s essential to clearly explain your situation in your communication with them.
- Follow Up on Your Email: If you don’t receive a response within a week or two, consider following up to ensure they are processing your request.
-
Prepare for Different Outcomes:
While waiting for their response, be prepared for either outcome:
- If they cancel your duplicate application, make sure you have the registration details of the application you wish to keep.
- If you receive a ban, inquire about the possibility of an appeal.
Don't panic and wait for the official response.
Best Wishes.
