It is basically a field in Finance where You can Estimate the financial risks in Insurance and other Financial Institutions Using the concepts of Statistics and Mathematics. Insurance is Not that much-taken care in India but it is a very common word in countries like the US so their people are very much concerned about it so it has great Future Opportunities.

Some of the ways which may help you to find job as fresher:
In order to become a Financial Analyst you require a bachelor's degree in in business administration, finance, economics, statistics or accounting.
If you are dealing with securities firm you need a license as well. You can get a license from Licensure by the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA).
You can also get a certification as a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA).

You can do MBA directly after B.com but you may not as you are passionate and serious about your career i would recommend you to first get 1-2 years of work experience and then go for MBA as it will give you some practical knowledge as well as it'll increase your chances of getting into a top level MBA college if aim to go for. Besides it for doing MBA from USA you need to have a minimum work experience of 2 years. Hope this answer might help you.
If you want to pursue career in business management then it's a good option. But getting BBA degree only won't fetch you a high package placement. You can go for MBA by taking exams like CAT, NMAT, XAT, IBSAT, IIFT etc and can admission in some good bschool.
