MSc in Food Technology course is a postgraduate course with a duration of 2 years. The admission to this course is done based on the rank that the candidate scored in entrance exams. Sometimes candidates also get admission on the basis of their merits or counselling. The eligibility criteria are the candidates need to have a Bachelor’s Degree in the relevant discipline.

The course fee may vary from one institute to another but roughly the average course fee is from 5,000 rs to 5.0 lacs. This course is specially designed for those who want to build their career in the bakery industry

  • PG Diploma in Clinical Nutrition and Dietetics is a one-year post-graduation program. It includes the study of human physiology and nutrients that are required for the human body. If the candidate wants to do further higher studies then they can pursue M.Phil Nutrition and Dietetics

  • MA Food and Nutrition , this course covers the study of product development, product quality, and their nutrition

  • M.Tech in Food Technology is a two-year course and always stays in demand in the field of food technology. It covers the study of production, packaging, processing, preservation, quality management of the products, etc

  • PG Diploma in Dietetics and Hospital Food Services is a one-year course. PG Diploma in Dietetics and Public Health is a one-year course.

For different colleges the eligibility criteria will be different but for most of the colleges the basic eligibility criteria will be candidates should have passed their 10+2 level exam with PCB and with minimum 55% marks. The minimum aggerate might change. PG Diploma in Food Safety & Quality Management is a one-year programme that emphasises on food products quality to meet the highest standards of food safety. So food and food production as the name suggests is all about preparing food it is the process of transforming raw ingredients into prepared Delicacies and candidates aspiring to build a career in the fields of food production have bright prospects as their focus to learn all the required skills starting from shopping to preparing a variety of dishes and cuisines such as Indian Chinese Thai continental etc.
