Hey aspirant,
B.Tech in Food Technology is a four-year undegraduate course provided with a curriculum of specialization in Food Technology and Engineering with in-depth theoretical and practical knowledge of Food Science concept. The various concepts covered in this course include Food Packaging, Nutrition Science, Food Manufacturing and Processing, Storage, etc.
Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) is a three year undergraduate course in business management studies which imparts basic business knowledge and leadership skills to students.
Since you are interested in entrepreneurship after studies and mostly in the food sector, I would suggest you to go for B.Tech in Food Technology because this will help you learn about the science in food, which will be very helpful for you in planning and conceptualizing your products, what kind of nutrition would it have and how you would want to add value to your product with help of science. To attract customers, your products must have some value that benefits them and you can plan for the best with the help of this course. Besides, basic management courses are usually part of engineering degrees that will help you. Most good engineering colleges also have incubation centres (entrepreneurship development centres) through which you can setup your own startup, if you have an innovative business idea during your college life itself.
Hope it helps. All the best!
Hey,
Since you did not mention your category, I am assuming you are of general category. Based on previous year cut off, you can get PG Food Science and Nutrition in the following colleges -
you can't do 1 year course. it might be easier with new education policy but it would be better option if you cover whole course duration.
Per year :- fee structure will be 30k on an average for government campus and 50k for private campus.
on the part of accommodation, it will be additional 10k-15k for government campus and 20k-25k for private campus.
if you could provide me college campus you are interested then it would be more easier for me to provide precise information.
Hope it helps!
