Now and upcoming days food Science is most demanding and passionate course those are interested in food industry or FMCG industry  but im sorry to say that CV Raman in this name there is more 2 colleges name is available and no one offers Food Science or food technology course after completion of 12th .They mostly offer M.Tech in food technology but it is not valid after completion 12th or in other sense you must completion of btech then you will get chance to apply in Mtech .

Generally in this criteria basis admission will held like To pursue the course at undergraduate level, candidates should clear Class 12 ^th in Science stream with subjects such as Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Mathematics, and Home Science and minimum qualifying marks as prescribed by a university/ college 50% -60% cutoff mark but it will as per which college you wants to take admission and there is Entrance test for pursing this course it will different as per college .

Becoming a food scientist is a long process. First you will have to pursue an undergraduate course in eg. Food Technology. You will then have to apply for a PhD program which would take around 4-5 years. If you work in a laboratory after your PhD, you can then call yourself a food scientist.
