i completed sslc shall i join to food inspector??

Hi Aspirant,

No You can not be a food inspector just after completing your SSLC. To become a Food Inspector, you must have a Bachelor’s degree in any stream.

However, a Bachelor’s degree in related subjects like biology, math, physics, or agricultural sciences can be of added advantage.

Dear Student,

After completion of your degree in  BSc Agriculture or any bachelors from medicine stream you have to give exam for food inspector which is held by various state and central governments.If you want to go in government job you can apply for UPSC national level food inspector exam this exam is conducted in every districts of each state which contains technical and aptitude questions.You are eligible to this exam if your age is between 18-42 years and have bachelors degree in medicine stream +1year training in food inspection or you can also apply in various private food processing companies.

Candidates who have completed graduation in subjects of agriculture, food technology, pharmacy, dairy technology or medicine are eligible to apply for this exam. The most popular exam conducted in the country is UPSC All India Food Inspector exam. Various state public service exams also conduct state level exams.

hi,

the general eligibility criteria for food inspector position is candidates need to pass graduation degree in food technology/food science/public health/ dairy technology or any other related discipline, however syllabus may differ and depends on the recruiting body, for government exams like upsc questions generally comes from aptitude, gk, basic science, verbal and logical reasoning, english.

for gk course you may folow luncent gks or arihant books.

rs agarwal is best for numerical aptitude, reasoning portions.

follow any good grammer books for english questions and daily read newspaper for current affairs.

You will get a chance to become a food inspector after completing your B.pharmacy course. You need to have a first-class graduate in B.pharmacy. All you need to do is check the vacancies available in UPSC and state level and apply for it.
