The area of work is at hospitals, clinics, diagnostic labs and have interrelationships with patients and helath care

Hi CAT is a national level  management aptitude test through which one can  take admission for MBA courses . Yes, you can opt BSc. Food technology.

Eligibility criteria:

  • Candidates must have passed Class 12 or equivalent in relevant discipline with an aggregate of at least 50% (45% for candidates belonging to SC/ ST Category) marks from a recognised board.
  • Candidates must have studied Physics, Chemistry, Biology/ Home Science in Class 12.

Admission will be based on entrance exam conducted by University or merit based.

May be or may not be you can get admission food technology in Techno main with 33000 rank in WBJEE. If you have any type of caste quota or management quota then there are some chances to get a seat in the campus of Techno main(Techno India Salt Lake) campus. So hope you will understand. There are three rounds of counselling food technology in Techno India salt Lake. Here the cutoff rank of previous year.

  • 22866- First round
  • 36584- Second round
  • 41108- Third round

So there is 50-50 possibilities to get a seat in this college.

As per previous year AP EAMCET cut off details , you have low chances to get Food technology in  JNTU Kakinada .

Last year the cut off for Food Technology in  JNTUK was : 34761

In IIIT Hyderabad Btech in Food technology is there?

Hello,

No, IIIT Hyderabad does not have Btech in Food Technology.

IIIT Hyderabad have only two Btech courses. One is BTech in Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) and another one is BTech in Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE) .

Eligibility Criteria to join this course -

JEE Main candidates:

Class 12 with an average of 60% in PCM

SPEC candidates:

PCM in Class 12 with the following:

- Eligible for the UDAAN programme (CBSE)

- At least completed classes 11 and 12 at a JNV.

- Enrolled in the fourth semester of an integrated, six-year, Class 12+ BTech programme following Class 10

which is better career option bsc agri or bsc food technology

In my opinion I would suggest you go with bsc Agriculture  rather than bsc food technology. Bsc hons Agriculture is a three year undergraduate degree in which a student gathers so many knowledge and procedures about the specialization that will help them in future job areas.
