Yes, you can easily take food technology course if you have studied Physics, Chemistry, and Maths in your Intermediate.
But you also need to study basic Biology along with General Microbiology, Foof Microbiology, biochemistry etc. in the course.
So, as a food technologist, we need to study mathematics and biology both in order to completely understand the concepts.
For example, calculus level mathematics is required to study heat and mass transfer operations, to find the probability of growth of possible microorganisms with the help of a growth chart (semi-log graph), etc.
Feel free to ask your queries and all the best for your future endevaours.
Food Technology is a science branch that deals with the techniques involved in production, processing, preservation, packaging, labeling, quality management, and distribution of food products. Early scientific research into food technology concentrated on food preservation.
