After completing BCA, the average salary offered is INR 4 LPA.
After completing a BSc in IT, the average salary offered is INR 2LPA.
After completing B-Tech in food technology, the salary offered is INR 4.25 to 10LPA.
BCA and BSc both are 3 years undergraduate courses while B-Tech is a 4-year undergraduate course.

Yes , BTech Food Technology deals a lot with chemistry and biology because the syllabus of this course deals with various topics like food preservation, constituents , nutritional value of Food , Food processing , Food Biochemistry ,Biochemistry of processing and preservation ,Food microbiology and various other topics which includes basic knowledge of Chemistry and Biology.
You should not worry about this even if you are not very strong in these subjects as you only need basic understanding(class 11 and 12) and you will have a sufficient time to learn chemistry and biology during your course .

This program involves an advanced study of techniques and activities which are involved in Preserving, Processing, and Manufacturing of food. Candidates must have passed Class 12 or equivalent from a recognized board with Physics, Chemistry and Biology/Home Science as compulsory subjects with an aggregate of at least 50% marks (45% for candidates belonging to SC/ ST/ OBC Candidates). Admission to BSc Food Technology colleges are based on the candidate's performance in the entrance exam. However, some institutes/universities also offer admission on the basis of merit, prepared on the basis of candidate’s marks in Class 12 examination. The average course fee ranges from INR 20,000 - INR 60,000.
