Dear candidate it's great that you have completed Bachelor's degree in Food Technology, now to enter into M.Tech courses you need to apply for GATE Examination and qualify it. The difficulty level of the exam is moderate to high but if you prepare well you can make it. After qualifying GATE you would get 12400 rs fellowship every month during your M.Tech studies. While applying for GATE Examination, you can select M.Tech in Diary Engineering and pursue your M.Tech accordingly if you score is good.

First of all if you focus on the institute it is in itself a brand and a very famous institute and was the to college under AKTU but now it has become a university now talking about the branches you mentioned so basically you can say these branches are more or less a specialization branch of chemical engineering which itself does not have a good scope in india so it depends on you if you want to do coding then take admission and start coding as some good companies visit HBTU but if you want to pursue your branch only as a carrier then oil and food technology may not offer vast opportunities also some companies of IT sector may not allow you sit in their interviews if you go with these branches

It is a full time postgraduate program of 2 years.The basic criteria to appear is 50% aggregate in recognized university.Admissions are done based on the performance showed by the candidate in entrance test.The entrance exams are:
