Forensic Science is the parent course which has various sub-fields. While Forensic Science consists of Toxicology, Serology, Ballistics to Psychology, Forensic Medicine is a branch which deals in civil or criminal legal cases (investigation). Forensic Medicine is also known as Forensic Pathology.
The basic requirement to pursue MD in any stream whether it is forensic sciences, it is mandatory to have qualification of MBBS, without which you cannot pursue MD. So, BNYS degree candidates cannot pursue MD without having the qualification of MBBS.
Yes, you can study this course. You are eligible for the same. Good luck.
Hope it helps!
All of them are good courses to choose in a pg level. Anatomy includes the study about gross and surface anatomy, neuroanatomy, embryology, genetics, histology, radiological anatomy, applied aspects and recent advances of the above mentioned branches of anatomy to clinical practice. Physiology deals with the u nderstanding of all aspects of general, systemic and applied p hysiology. Biochemistry deals with concepts and principles of biochemistry and cell biology, including correlations of these with cellular and molecular processes involved in health and disease and forensic medicine aims to make the student aware of medico legal aspects in various settings and about contemporary advances and developments in the field of Forensic medicine. All the courses are good. So you have to consider your interest before you choosing a subject. If you ate interested in studying about physiological aspects or cell components then go for anatomy or physiology. If you are interested in cell biology or forensic field then go for biochemistry or forensic medicine. Consider your interest and choose one. It's all about the interest of the student. All the best.
