i am doing msc chemistry,..suggest me best books ever for gate chemistry and CSIR NET JRF chemistry. and the best way to prepare to be a topper ?? pls i dont need a link only

Shoaib Akhtar 2nd Oct, 2020

Hello divya

Since I am from the same field as yours so I did like to have a small discussion over it . Since you want to be a topper you can join any coaching institute as they will provide you better guidance and more importantly better study materials .Or you can just buy some good study materials and read them by yourself to safe the time of spending classes . Take arihant (or another publications ) previous years solved papers .Which will give you a good idea . I personally don't want to recommend books as I think you must follow the syllabus and books usually have a lot more than necessary . But obviously if you can then you can chose books .But since you are in msc I don't think you have enough time now .

plz anyone can tell me what is career opportunity after gate chemistry.

Vipul Chaudhary 28th Aug, 2020
Hey there!
Greetings.
Here you can check the below advantages of clearing Gate-
The GATE advantage

In this context, the following points are worth noting about this examination:

Many public sector undertakings such as BHEL, Indian Oil Corporation, NTPC, Bhabha Atomic Research Centre (there are PSUs totalling 217 in number) are using the GATE score for selecting candidates for their organisations. Students who qualify in GATE are entitled to a stipend of Rs 12400/- per month during their M.Tech course. Better remuneration is being offered for students of M.Tech/M.E as compared to those pursuing B.Tech /B.E. A good GATE rank assures a good job. After joining M.Tech. at IITs and IISc, one can look at a salary package ranging from Rs 7 lakh to 30 lakh per annum, depending upon specialisation and performance.

Clearing GATE is also an eligibility clause for the award of Junior Research Fellowship in CSIR Laboratories. M.Tech. degree is mandatory for those wishing to apply for research positions in R&D centres. The GATE score is valid for two years and those who qualify this test are eligible for doing Masters degree at NUS, (National University of Singapore), Singapore. A GATE score definitely gives one an edge when it comes to joining reputed companies as well as off-campus recruitments. For those who couldnt pursue their BTech in IIT, it provides another opportunity to study in the prestigious IITs. Above all, it certainly gives you a huge technical edge over others in all your interviews and career planning.

Hope this helps!!!

priyaankasarkar Student Expert 16th Apr, 2020

Monika, GATE is an entrance exam for admisison to Post Graduate courses in Engineering, Technology and relevant Science courses. While JEE is the entrance examination for admission to Undergraduate courses like B.Tech/B.Arch. So there is a vast difference in the syllabus. You can check the complete syllabus for Chemistry in our article: https://engineering.careers360.com/articles/gate-syllabus . But to give you the gist,

Under Physical Chemistry topics like Structure, Equilibrium, Kinetics and Surfaces and Interfaces.

Under Inorganic Chemistry, topics like Main group Elements, Transition elements, Lanthanides and Actinides, Organometallics, Radioactivity, Bioinorganic Chemistry, Solids, Instrumental Methods of Analysis.

Under Organic Chemistry, topics like Sterochemistry, Reaction Mechanisms, Organic Synthesis, Pericyclic Reactions and Photochemistry, Heterocyclic Compounds, Biomolecules and Spectroscopy.

Is there any job opportunities for B.TECH BIOMEDICAL ENGINEERING IN UAE AND QATAR

akshaevelin27_9770651 Student Expert 15th Aug, 2019

Hello aspirant,

The Saudia Arabian Surgeons, as I have read are the best trained in the greater Arab world, biomedical backgrounds could help you and others in this emerging area of science to together utilize diplomatic connections to the Saudi Crown in order to create alternative economic options for the kingdom that is currently looking to diversify income beyond an economy based on 90% petroleum products and services.

You never know, Israel a leading biomedical country alongside the US would gladly pay the minimalist fees to hedge their bets more fruitfully outside Malaysia Germany and Singapore.

It would likely first take a dedicated group of engineers to assemble and then research how they would diplomatically open a channel to the Saudi Royal Family.

Hope this will be helpful...
