Candidates can appear for MHT CET exam for admission to Engineering colleges in Maharashtra. To claim Maharashtra state candidature, a candidate must fulfill any of the following condition-
1. Candidates should have passed SSC and also HSC or Diploma in Engineering Examination from a recognised institution in Maharashtra State; Candidate who is either Domicile of Maharashtra and/or is born in Maharashtra.
2. Candidate or his/her Father or Mother is domiciled in the State of Maharashtra and possess Domicile Certificate.
3. Candidate whose Father or Mother is an employee of the Government of India or Government of India Undertaking and who has been posted and reported to duty in Maharashtra State.
4. Candidate whose father or Mother is an employee or retired employee of the Government of Maharashtra or Government of Maharashtra Undertaking.
5. Candidate who has passed SSC and/or HSC Examination from a recognised institution located in a disputed Maharashtra Karnataka Border Area or from Maharashtra, residing in the disputed Maharashtra Karnataka Border Area and whose Mother tongue is Marathi.
If your father/mother possess a domicile certificate or is an employee of the government, you can apply for Maharashtra state candidature.

The National Eligibility cum Entrance test is conducted every year for admissions in Medical/BDS courses. The NEET also provides a provision of 85% State seat qouta. the Tamilnadu State Medical CounsellingCommitteee (TNHEALTH.org) conducts an online counselling/ choice filling for the admission in UG Medical/ Dental course for 85% state quota seats in Govt/ Self-Financed seats. In order to be eligible for this qouta the candidate should be a native of Tamil Nadu: If one has completed clss 8th - 12th from a school in TN, there is no need to submit Nativity certificate; otherwise,ie. if one has partly or completely completed 8th - 12th class from outside Tamil Nadu , nativity ceritificate must be submitted.The Nativity certificate should follow be of a supported format , which is given in the annexure(follow this link: http://www.tnhealth.org/online_notification/notification/N1706869.pdf) and it should submitted along with photocopy of passport/ration card/birth ceritficate.Permanent Residence certificate in plce of Nativity certificate won't be accepted. If these are not submitted, application can be rejected. Check the annexures of the following document regarding proper format of the nativity certificate :
