Master of commerce (M.com) is a post graduate course in field of commerce. It is a popular course for students from commerce background.

Eligibility criteria to take admission in M.com is following

Candidate must have degree in Bachelor of commerce from a recognized institute with minimum 50%.

Scores obtained by candidate in B.com is basis of admission to M.com (//M.com)

As you have mentioned in query that your are student of English honors. So you can't pursue M.com. You can go for M.A.

You can pursue only one degree at a time whether you choose your polytechnic or BA course but you will be eligible for only one course.
