1. Your general rank is 32829 and category rank is 10020

2. For top government colleges your rank is high

3. You may not get seat in top colleges like Andhra Polytechnic Kakinada

4. But you can try for middle or small government colleges

5. Your category rank may help you get electrical or ECE in less competitive college

ive secured 44 marks in bsc crimnology from general category is there chances to get seat in nfsu

Abhi sonkar 25th Jul, 2025

good afternoon ,with 44 marks in the General category, admission to the B.Sc. Criminology and Forensic Science program at NFSU (National Forensic Sciences University) may be challenging but not impossible, depending on the cutoff trends and campus preferences

Cutoffs vary year to year and by campus

For General category, past cutoffs for B.Sc. programs have hovered around 60–70 marks, but some campuses may accept lower scores in mop-up rounds or if seats remain

Campus Strategy

Main campus (Gandhinagar) is highly competitive

Consider applying to regional campuses like Goa, Tripura, or Bhopal, which may have lower cutoffs and more seat availability

Check the NFSU merit list portal for updates on cutoffs and seat availability https://nfsu.ac.in/meritlist

Apply to multiple campuses to improve your chances

Prepare for counselling rounds, especially mop-up or spot admission

I am a NEET student. I have done 12th in HSC. General category but got less than 50% in PCB so I gave physics improvement exam from NIOS. Now I have two mark sheets so I am applying for MBBS and NEET. Will you accept me in a government college? Please tell me if anyone has been accepted, please help

Nikita shahi 25th Jul, 2025

Hello, Shravani,

This is a very important and genuine question—thank you for asking. The good news is, yes, NIOS is recognized by MHRD, and as long as your improvement exam in Physics was done through NIOS and you now have two valid mark sheets, you’re eligible to apply for NEET counselling. According to NMC guidelines, a student must have passed individually in Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English with a minimum of 50% for General category 40% for SC/ST/OBC.

Since your PCB aggregate in HSC was below 50%, but you improved Physics via NIOS and now your overall percentage is valid colleges should accept your application. Just make sure you carry both your original HSC mark sheet and the NIOS improvement result during counselling. Also, keep your NEET score ready and participate in both All India and State counselling.

Hope you will find it helpful!

what was the state quota rank cutoff for general category in physiotherapy in the yr 2024?

SEJAL JAIN 24th Jul, 2025

In 2024, the state quota cutoff rank for the General category in Physiotherapy courses through NEET was around 49,000 in many states like Madhya Pradesh. Candidates who scored approximately 620–630 marks had a good chance of getting admission in government colleges for BPT.

However, the cutoff varied slightly depending on the number of seats, college reputation, and state-wise competition. Those with slightly lower marks could still secure seats in private colleges or during later counselling rounds.

what was the state quota rank cutoff for general category in physiotherapy in the yr 2024?

Abhilasha Agrawal 25th Jul, 2025

There’s no published state quota cut-off for physiotherapy in 2024. Generally, government BPT seats remain competitive and typically close by NEET marks 300 to 500 (AIR 50K to 120K) for General candidates. Admission largely depends on state counseling policies, not uniform cut-offs

I got 76.25 marks in NFAT 2025 FOR BSC. IN CRIMINOLOGY AND FORENSIC SCIENCE, I found my rank 208 on DELHI CAMPUS merit list. I am from General category. I couldnt find any rank list of Gandhinagar campus, I am confused. there is not my name in 1st list of Delhi campus, will i get any seat?

Nikita shahi 25th Jul, 2025

If your NFAT 2025 rank is 208 for the Delhi campus and your name appears on the Delhi Campus merit list, then you’re in a very good position. Since you didn’t find your name in the first list, don’t panic admission generally happens in multiple rounds.

Your name might appear in Round 2 or 3, especially since you're from the General category and within a strong rank zone. As for Gandhinagar campus, they may release a separate merit list later. Sometimes only shortlisted candidates are shown in each round, and Delhi campus tends to fill fast, but a rank of 208 is good.

Check the university’s admission portal regularly, and attend counselling/document verification if called. If confused, contact the official helpline or email the admission team.

All the best!

I score 460 in pcb and 722 out of 1250 in cuet ug 2025 Im a general category girl from west bengal

Chelsie G 8th Aug, 2025

Thanks for sharing your marks. So with 460 in PCB and 722/1250 in CUET UG 2025, and being from the general category in West Bengal, your chances for top central universities or competitive BSc courses might be a bit challenging, but you can still target decent options depending on the cutoff trends. Make sure to apply widely across multiple universities and keep backup options ready too.

I GOT 42.75 MARKS IN NFAT 2025 (GENERAL, WARD OF EXSERVICEMAN) FOR B.TECH AND GOT 89 PERCENTILE IN JEE MAINS 2025. MAY I GOT ADMISSION IN NFSU?

Yash Teotia 23rd Jul, 2025

Hello

Your NFAT marks of 42.75 is low if you apply in General Category and it is borderline for Ward of Ex Serviceman.

Your JEE MAINS marks doesn't matter for admission in NFSU main things is the NFAT score.

So there is some chance of you getting NFSU through Ward of Ex Serviceman thought even for that a student generally needs 45-50 marks.

So hope for the best and stay positive. Thank You!!!

i have got seat in sastra university(cse) and i also got 8k rank in ts eamcet (general category). which college will you select to go?

gopi 26th Jul, 2025

Hello Aspirant,

SASTRA University (CSE) has its own positives, and TS EAMCET colleges have their own positives, but your personal preference depends on the long-term objectives:

  1. SASTRA University is a good deemed university with good academic discipline and placement records (especially for IT services) and proper infrastructure. If you are looking for an structure that is consistent and risk-free planning, SASTRA University is a good option.
  2. With your 8k rank in TS EAMCET in the General category you will probably get into an average state government college i.e. OU or JNTU (or probably a top regional college), which have less fees and probably worthy student competition (referred as Peer value) than SASTRA University. That being said, if your interest lies in core technology work roles, coding culture, or considering government jobs these colleges have more flexibility and value to you

iam general rank was 47,808 and community rank was 13,594[mbc],my cut off was 175.5 ,can i get a EEE in your clg in tnea counselling..by the way my name is kishore.

Yash Teotia 23rd Jul, 2025

Hello Kishore

With a rank of 47,808 and community rank (MBC) of 13,594 and cutoff of 175.5, you will not get EEE in most top or mid-level engineering colleges in TNEA Counselling.

Your best chance is go for lower and self financed institutions for getting into your desired branch of EEE.
