btech genetic engineering or bsc cardiac perfushion which is best and which has better scope

Sreeja Siva 3rd Oct, 2020

Hi,

B.Sc. in Cardiac Perfusion is a three year UG course in Bioscience which focus on the knowledge on human anatomy, perfusion, science, and perfusion methods that are combined with biological subjects such as biochemistry, pathology, pharmacology, anatomy, and clinical evaluation. Btech in genetic engineering mainly combines the concepts of biology and engineering. Both courses are good options. The job opportunities based on this courses is comparatively low in our country. But the students who complete this course do get good opportunities in abroad than in India. The jobs where Btech genetic engineer get placed  are scientific/ medical Writer, Genetic Engineer, Information Security Engineer etc. Perfusionists predominantly work in the operating rooms of hospitals and the surgical centres along with the medical teams. So this course have higher opportunities in our state and also in abroad. So my humble suggestion is go for this one. All the best.

I wish to take btech genetic engineering does it has good scope and what are the work field I deals with it

Shivani sunil kakde 3rd Oct, 2020

Dear Aspirant,

Btech Genetic Engineering is a 4 year undergraduate course.Genetic engineering is a branch of advanced science, which is concerned with the wide range of scientific techniques that are applied in order to purposely change the genetic structure in DNA code of a living life form so as to create newer and better things.

For admission in genetic BTech course the candidate is need to have passed 10+2examination from a recognized board of education with biology, chemistry and physics as a main subject with 60% aggregate score. For admission in this course you need to qualify a relevant national/state or university level engineering entrance exam followed by rounds of counselling and personal interview.

Some of the major national level entrance exam conducted in India for this course are JEE Main,JEE advance,SRMJEE,VIT EEE,BIT SAT,JNU EEE etc.Other university level exam is conducted by SRM University,Vellore institute,Birla institute and Jawaharlal Nehru university.

Thank you

What is genetic engineering ? How to do genetic engineering ? What is fees and government colleges in Mumbai for this course and Eligibility for this course .

nishant sharma 30th Sep, 2020

Hello student ,

Genetic engineering course is the course which essentially comprises the study of the deliberate modification of an organism's basic characteristics by manipulating its genetic material. Further to pursue this course you must have completed your 10+ 2 education with PCB. While there are engineering institutes that consider Mathematics a compulsory subject in order to offer admissions to candidates, institutes like JNU does not make maths mandatory for seeking admissions into the BTech in Biotechnology programmes. Candidates who have studied Biology in 10 +2 can also apply for admission .Further median  fee structure is  approx 8 LPA .

Hope it helps !

i got poor marks in neet wiil b.tech in genetic engineering shall better option for me?

Soumili Majumdar 21st Sep, 2020
Hello there,
If you have scored less marks in NEET, then there are many other courses that you can opt for. Some of them are listed below:
1. BAMS
2. BHMS
3. BDS
4. BVSc
5. BNYS
6. BPT
7. BSc Nursing
You can opt for these with your NEET marks. But you cannot do a B.Tech course with your NEET marks. For that, you need to sit for an engineering entrance exam like JEE Mains. If you want to do a B.Tech degree based on biology, then you have the following options:
1. Genetic Engineering
2. Biotechnology
3. Food Technology
These are very good courses and have much scope in the near future. As you can see the current situation, this pandemic has slightly increased the scope of Biotechnology and Genetic Engineering in job aspects. These fields were known to be growing fields but now these have gained much importance, and will have a great scope in future. So if you get a good college for Genetic Engineering or Biotechnology, you should go for it.

btech biomedical engineering or btech genetic engineering which has better scope

Manish Goud 2nd Sep, 2020

Dear friend,

Over all, the demand of biomedical in India is at  peaks level.

Basically, biomedical stream offers high career prospects. Biomedical engineers can be offered by all multi-speciality hospitals and for development of devices for easing medical equipments.

After graduation in biomedical engineering :one persue MBA in hospital management this can offer better career prospects apart from this one can take research in biomedical field in institute like IIT Delhi, etc.

Genetic engineering is a narrow dimension towards bio technology side and it is a specialization course if you are not sure about genetics you can go with biomedical.

By choosing biotechnology, you may find some Electronic and electrical subjects, that  you may be placed in medical sector too with decent package.

Now, its all up to you to choose your career, all the best.

I hope the information is helpful, thank you.
