I have secured of All India Rank of 1990 UR in ICAR PG ( Plant Science ). I am interested in pursuing an M.sc in Genetics and Plant Breeding. Could you please advise whether there are any chances of obtaining Admission to a university through the councelling process, including the final or mop-up round

Hey,

You have a fair chance of getting admission in M.Sc. in Genetics and Plant Breeding in the later counselling round or mop-up round with the All India Rank of 1990 UR. Top ICAR institutes like IARI, PAU, and TNAU might be difficult, but you have chances in multi-tier universities such as BHU, CSS HAV, BCKV, or state agricultural universities.

If you’re a PCMB student interested in Genetics and Biosciences research, you can go for B.Sc. in Biotechnology, Microbiology, Genetics, or Life Sciences. After that, pursue M.Sc. and PhD for a research career.

i want to pursue clincial genetics (preferably abroad) after i finish my mbbs... but i dont know gow to proceed with it. not a lot of institues in india offer md genetics and i would have to take md pediatics or internal medicine before dm genetics...what are paths i can pursue for clinical genetics
