BSC in genetics is a bachalor degree course which duration is 3 years. In this course you have to study about the gene, genetic factors, biology some genetic statistics mathematics, chemistry etc. In future genetics have lots of scope. You can do research in very well known research institute or any Pharmaceutical company or any nutrition company.

BSC is bachalor of science graduation degree. This is three years course duration in any subject.
Like BSC in biotechnology and genetics is not possible with along or only one subject. You can study BSC in biotechnology or BSC in genetics individually. Also you can study in BSC in microbiology, BSC in molecular biology etc. If you interested in biotechnology then you take this subject and in this course you can study some portion of genetics also. Because alk are some kind of relatable. But BSC in biotechnology and genetics is not possible. I hope you can understand the point.

Bsc Students are not eleibile to write GATE exam. Only the candidates of B.Tech or B.E. or MSc (relevant science subject) are allowed to write GATE exam. So, if you want to write GATE exam, then you first need to complete the degree in MSc in biotechnology (or equivalent). To know more, visit here:
