BSc Geology has good scope like Private companies and Government enterprises involved in activities like mineral exploration, mineral mining, mining, mineral production, mineral extraction, oil and natural gas exploration, oil and natural gas extraction etc are known to hire geology graduates. Coming to BSc Psychology program , you can opt for jobs as a Forensic Psychologist, Research Psychologist or a Career Counsellor or you can also go for further studies such as M.Sc. Psychology or M.A.

In West Bengal there are very few colleges that provide B.sc Geology course. The name of the colleges that provide B.sc Geology are given below,
1. Jadavpur University- One of the best university in West Bengal is Jadavpur University and their Geology department is also very good. Both Bsc and Msc Geology degree is provided by this University.
2. Presidency University- It is also a very prestigious university and Geology department here is also very good. Bsc and Msc Geology degree is provided by this college. If you want to take admission in Presidency University then you have to give admission test which is conducted by WBJEE. To get admission in Geology you have to give the common test only( which is common to get honours in all the papers). The paper consists of Physics, Chemistry and Math.
3. Asutosh College- Asutosh College also provides Bsc Geology degree and their Geology department is also very good. The college is under Calcutta University.
4. Jogomaya Devi College: It is the morning section of Asutosh College and it is a female college. The college also provides Bsc Geology degree. The college is also under Calcutta University.

The admission for bsc course in manav rachna University faridabad is taken on the basis of merit + qualify examination MRNAT, when you clear the marks on the basis of merit on 10+2 level you will be pass on to next stage for giving qualify examination. The cutoff for MRNAT in bsc geology requires more than 50 % of aggregate in the qualifying examination. So it mean that there is no defined cutoff for the examination.
