to get admission in universities in germany for masters do we have to qualify for ielts, gre, german language test.. all the 3!?

Atharva Yeolekar 22nd Nov, 2019

Hello aspirant

For studying in Germany mainly you should have proficiency in english, a good gre, ielts or toefl score and an A2 certification in German Language. If you have a very good undergraduate percentage, a good resume/profile then you may also get scholarship or even free tuition. So i would advice you to get a 320+ gre score , an equally good score in ielts or toefl and would also advice you to keep on updating yourself with new skills to improve the variety in your profile.

Hope this helped. Good Luck!

What should I opt for between bds in luxmi bai college patiala or mbbs in Germany?

Sunanda Dhar Student Expert 12th Sep, 2019

MBBS/Medicine from Germany allows your exposure to world class institution like Heidelberg University, which is obviously much better than AIIMS in India.

Medicine from Germany allows you to practice not only in Germany but in other parts of world as well. In fact, you can come back to India and practice here as MCI approves these universities.

If you look at tuition fees for Medicine program in Germany, it is actually zero except for first year tuition fees for language which may cost you approx euro 8,000. During your entire education, you need to pay only for your living cost.

As we know Germany provides world class of education in the field of MBBS, so students who are studying Medicine from Germany Universities need not to worry about their future carrier because German Universities are recognised in Worlds top Universities. Yes, it is really worth to do MBBS in German

Feel free to ask me in the comment box if you are having any further doubts

hope you find it helpful

Good Luck!

do we have to qualify gre, ielts to get admission in germany for ms in engineering

sahanahegde44 16th Dec, 2020

Hello  Aspirant,

Hope your doing well!

you have not specified the course for admission but this is the basic procedure

IELTS Writing Task 2 and the GRE AWA’s Analyse-an-Issue Task are almost exactly the same. Both tasks involve writing your opinion on a social issue — something like global warming, funding for education,

Paper-based GRE tests are available only twice a year: once in November, and once in February. The 2019-2020 tests were held on November 9th, 2019, and February 1st, 2020.

Compared to the ACT and the SAT, the GRE is typically considered more difficult because, even though the math tested on the GRE is a lower level than the math tested on the SAT and ACT, the GRE has more challenging vocabulary and reading passages, and the math problems have trickier wording or require higher-level

Thankyou, Good luck for everything ahead :)

How to become a physiotherapist in Germany after 12th in India?

priyaankasarkar Student Expert 17th Oct, 2019

Dear Manmeet, because Germany is an European country, you need to have language proficiency in German first. Then you need to appear for either IELTS or TOEFL depending on the Institution you wish to apply. Most Universities accept IELTS and so you can take up that exam. Every year approximately 7000 Students graduate in Physiotherapy from approximately 263 schools. Not necessarily all these are Graduation programmes. These are more like Diploma in Physiotherapy courses. This is a 3 year programme and Candidates are eligible for pursuing PG after Diploma course. The certificates issued are of 3 types:

  1. Bescheinigung certificate- the school issues this certificate to allow the student to take the examination
  2. Zeugnis or Abschlusszeugnis der Berufsfachschule; completion
certificate of the Berufsfachschule - confirms that the student has passed the state examination
  3. Urkunde from state (Staat), or county (Kreis) or from district (Bezirk)- allows graduates to practice the profession

All Students need to register and get a license to practise PT in Germany.

I am persuing my under-graduation in Chemical Engineering from Gujarat Technological University and I wish to persue my masters from Germany. My current CGPA is 8.27 and I am sure of scoring 7-7.5 in IELTS.What are the chances that I will be admitted into a reputed german PUBLIC university like TUM?

Mahaveer Student Expert 24th Sep, 2019

Hi Anwin,

There are a great deal of courses at MS level that are offered totally in English(779+ to be exact). Some have a blend of Eng+German like 75-25, 50-50, and so forth. On the off chance that you have a few courses in German you need at any rate B2 level German capability. Those projects will request that you present a test score of a test called TestDAF. Well finishing B2 in a half year in exceptionally extreme. It takes around 2-3 months for one level.

Your general profile matters a great deal for example your GPA, Projects, inquire about papers, LoRs, SoPs. GPA is by a long shot the most commanding element in top colleges like Stuttgart, Hamburg, and Munich.

Most colleges don't request any exceptional test score like GRE, however a few colleges can request GRE or even GATE scores, it depends completely on the program and the necessities continue changing each year. Subsequently it is encouraged to consistently allude to the program site for the equivalent. TOEFL is required by every one of the Universities and any score over 90/120 would do.

SOP or mission statement should cover the accompanying focuses:

  • How you got into Chemical Engineering and how could you build up an enthusiasm for it.
  • What have you accomplished so far that you believe you qualify as a contender to be chosen.
  • For what reason did you pick that specific University and Why would you like to go to Germany.
  • What is your long haul objective and by what method will this MS help you accomplish it.
  • Try not to compose just modifiers that portray you, rather show cases that demonstrate it.

All the Best

There is no such hard and fast rules. Almost each Universities in Germany have same requirements. Whether it is a Science based or Technology.

But Some Institutes like Aachean or Technical University of Munich have a little more GPA demands as in you must have a cgpa of 8 or above 8 to be eligible.

Other than these IELTS or TOEFL score is mandatory with great SOP.
