after completeing BCA an three years undergraduate course can i get a job in USA as a fresher ?? And can i apply for google or apple like top companies??what are the skills should i improve to get a job in USA and in top companies like google microsoft etc

Shalini Parimal 20th Jul, 2021

Hi Aspirant,

Yes, you can definitely get a job after BCA course. BCA graduates have good job prospects both in the government and private sector companies. Talking about jobs in USA or in the companies like Google, Apple, etc., you need to be very clear with the basics of your computer science and applications knowledge. Google doesn't care about your degree/GPA etc. They look at your knowledge, problem solving skills, your attitude etc. So you have to be the best in each and every technical field either it is programming, your algorithms knowledge, software designing and development knowledge, etc.

Also please note that all above mentioned stuffs are related to Technical knowledge since you have mentioned about BCA.

Hope this helps.

Good luck!!!

My question is How many interview rounds in Google for software developer?

Manasvini B 20th Jun, 2021

Hello Neha ,

The number of interview rounds vary according to the level of experience in the field. You will have 2-3 screening rounds depending on the branch including a general conversation with the HR and a technical round. After getting selected , there is a round of interviews going on -

  • Round 1 - Technical writing
  • Round 2 - Similar to round 1
  • Lunch Break
  • Announce the results of the interview
  • Round 3
  • Round 4
  • Engineering Manager Round for senior positions.                                                                                                                                                                                                 There are almost 5 rounds for software professionals in Google. Hope this helps you!

Companies like Google, Microsoft or Amazon allow all branches to sit in their placements in DTU?

Atul Singh 26th Jul, 2021

Dear Student,

Actually it depends upon the position they want to recruit like if they come here for software developer post then definitely they will allow only CSE/IT student to sit campus placement not any other branch. You should also know that Google, Microsoft, Amazon etc. are product based companies and they mostly hire student  from CSE/IT group only.

If you also want a place in this company then you need the develop the required skill and then apply for the off campus placement where your branch doesn't matter, whether you are from mechanical or microbiology, you just need to develop the required skill.

Best Of Luck!!!
