Hi aspirant,
See if you have done BTech from a good college and have relevant skills and knowledge about the thing concerned with the companies then your age would not be a major factor because all the companies prefer quality over quantity. The Google organises GSOC to hire candidates who have done engineering and have relevant skill in off campus mode so here you see there is no measure pre requirements and the company only once people who have skills, knowledge and can be an asset to the company. Similarly if you do engineering from a well recognised college there would be at least 100 companies coming to the campus for placements so you would have ample opportunities even if some companies put age restriction. The major point is also that there is no retirement fund given now by the companies so there is no no problem in contrast to is for companies because they had to pay the amount only for the period the employee works for them.
Hope it helps!!

Yes it's true that if the company like Google is looking for campus placement then it will look for top colleges but it doesn't mean that they don't hire engineers outside from the top colleges but yes it's very unusual. But what you can do is that you can join another any company as a fresher there and after getting good knowledge and experience from that company you can make your profile strong enough and after that you can apply for your dream job or that's google Or in Microsoft.

Hi Aspirant,
Hope you are doing great.
You need to work hard if you want to get placement in these MNCs because these are everyone's dream companies, everyone struggles to get placement in them. So, first of all, you need to maintain at least 8.00 CGPA till the 4th year. Another thing is that along with your academics try to learn new skills right from the first semester. Like in the first semester you can try to learn new languages like Java, C++, etc. As you move forward you could start learning data structure and algorithms. You must be a problem solver. You have to focus on your communication skills.
You can work on some of the relevant projects because this will give you an edge on your CV. You can do internships, can do volunteership in NGOs. So, these are the few things, if you work on them you will get your dream job.
Hope this helps.
