shelly 24th Mar, 2021

Dear Student,

You have to  go through a Junior Basic Teacher Training Program( JBT). Class 11 and 12 teachers are called PGTs (Post Graduate Teachers), so Masters (MA / MSc / MCom) is compulsory along with B. Ed to become teacher. If you are btech graduate you can directly apply for pgt teacher post

For lecturer in govt college you need to give NET UGC entrance test along with masters degree and after qualifying this exam you can become assistant professor in govt college

harshitasharansrivastava Student Expert 31st Jan, 2021

Hi Dear,

Yes, Phisiology is a  branch of biology that aims to understand the mechanisms of living things. BSC hons in physiology  is  a three year course which deals with the study of living organism. However, After completion of just BSC it is difficult for you to get a government job as  a teacher. You can go for further studies and required qualification in the same field like b.ed, MSC, PHD etc.

I am a student of certified government school in West Bengal appearing in 2021 for 12th. I am permanent resident of other state(not bengal) but I have done my schooling from 5th to 12 from residential school in kolkata.Shall I be eligible ror the a2 domicile certificate of west bengal for neet.

ADITYA KUMAR Student Expert 19th Jan, 2021
Hi

As per the memo issued by government of West Bengal Directorate of Medical Education on 9.11.2020 regarding West Bengal State quota for neet 2020 counselling,
to be eligible for West Bengal State quota either candidate or his /her parents must be domicile of West Bengal.

To be domicile of west Bengal, you need you need to fulfill any one of the following:-

  • Proforma A1 :- domicile certificate  for candidates residing in West Bengal for last 10 years continuously as on 31st December 2019

  • Proforma A2 :- domicile certificate  for the candidates residing in West Bengal for last 10 years continuously as on 31st December 2019 and also passed 10 + 2 from West Bengal

  • Proforma B:-  domicile certificate for candidate not living in West Bengal continuously for the last 10 years but his /her parents have permanent address in West Bengal and residing continuously in west Bengal for the last 10 years as on 31st December 2019.

So,
it doesn't matter even if you have done your schooling from Class 5 to class 12th in West Bengal, you can't get A2 domicile certificate if you are not living in West Bengal for the last 10 years but if you are living in West Bengal for the last 10 years then yes you can get domicile certificate and you will be eligible for West Bengal State quota.
Or even if your parents have been living in West Bengal for the last ten and have permanent address then in that case also you can get domicile certificate under  proforma B.

You can check the same at its official page the link is provided below

Bed or bled is basic education degree needed to be a teacher in any institution. However, eligibility criteria may differ from institution to institution.

Thanks

Sir/Mam I want to become a physical science teacher in government school and now I am doing a BSc physical science with chemistry in Gargi college what is the procedure for becoming a physical science teacher in government school what should I have to do?

Shakti Swarupa Bhanja 23rd Oct, 2020

Hello Pooja!

I am happy to know that you are interested to become a teacher. It is a noble profession. Now as you are pursuing your BSc in physical science, first wait for your graduation. Right after you graduate, you have to complete a BEd degree for becoming a government school teacher .

I would suggest you to apply for Regional Institute of Education(s) as they are directly a constituent of NCERT, New Delhi under the central government. Completing your BEd degree from here will land you in top government schools in India like KVs and Sainik Schools. There are five RIEs, i.e RIE Ajmer, RIE Bhopal, RIE Bhubaneswar, RIE Mysuru, and NERIE, Shillong.

All you have to do is to apply for RIE CEE after your graduation. You have to score at least 50% marks in Bachelor’s Degree to be eligible for admission to the program (relaxation of 5% marks for SC/ ST/PwD candidates). You will fill your application under the physical sciences group . After qualifying for the RIE CEE, a merit list is prepared according to which you are admitted to your preferred RIE to pursue your BEd.

Go through the official website of RIEs to get complete information:-

the tn government passed a bill regarding 7.5% reservations for government school students in medical admissions i have completed my higher secondary( 11th and 12th ) classes in a government aided school and also went free neet coaching conducted by them.i scored 349 can I get a seat through this?

AKSHAYA.V.A. 27th Oct, 2020

Hello!

There are chances, but when we look at the statistics it is quite high. This 7.5% reservation would be fought by a huge group of students. So the one whose score is more than yours will have higher priority. You can use caste reservations too. If you are not satisfied, then take NEET again. It is never wrong to have scope, do give a try. ALL THE BEST. Hope the answer was helpful
